Ashik is a writer and filmmaker who aims to make world class films. He set foot into the professional arena by writing and directing Munnariv, the first feature film from Kerala to be shot entirely on a iPhone.
Besides Munnariv he also made over 10 short films, assisted several Ads and award-winning feature films. He published his debut book The Indian Indie Film extensively documenting his low budget filmmaking journey for fellow aspiring filmmaker. Ashik is an Engineer by degree who worked with Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai. He quit, traveled across India soul searching and finally choose to follow his passion for stories.
Besides writing great stories and films, he is an adventurer soul, traveller, blogger, photographer, teacher, philanthropist, volunteer, and most importantly a student of life, with an insatiable hunger for learning and making new experiences.

Enikk ariyaavunna kaaryangal ningal kanda ee video il njaan paranjittund. Athil kooduthal ariyunna time il njaan mat toru video cheyaam. For now, I hope this video helps. Apologies for the late response. Looks like TH-cam does not notify me on response to comments I have already responded to. After making my debut feature with Munnariv I had a lot of doubts. How to get a film into theatres, how to find a distributor, what do they look for, and such similar practical questions about the Malayalam film industry that I did not know. Those answers were not on TH-cam or online. So, for the last one year I have been at a film school here in Kochi, called Neo Film School, learning and finding answers to those questions. In between all that, writing didn't happen. I am slowly getting back into completing the scripts I had left halfway. Troubles of getting back into a routine after a break. Thank you for asking 😊
