ISS solar transit plus a surprise transit. 10 seconds after the ISS transit, ROU1905 from Toronto to Victoria passes in front of the sun while over Wausau, WI 8/02/2024. The ISS is very high in the sky, so it appears fairly large and moving very rapidly. Slo-motion video at the end.

The second part of the video is sped up to highlight the Northern Lights. I realize these videos can be hard to see. I watch them on a 27" monitor. On your phone, you probably won't see anything.

Photos and video of the eclipse as seen from Vincennes, IN. The time stamp is in CDT but the camera clock was 5 minutes fast. Totality lasted 4 minutes, but I only got 2 1/2 minutes. When totality started, I took off the filter, you can see the shaking, and I decided I needed to change the settings. I didn't realize that when I changed the settings it stopped recording. I noticed about a minute...

2023 Annular Eclipse

The first 30 seconds are taken with my camera from home. The next segment is of the annularity as seen from Utah, followed by the annularity from Albuquerque. The final 90 seconds are from my camera again.

Which filter makes the best looking video??? These are actually eclipse glasses, used to filter my camera. The white image is using my old filter from the 90's. The yellow image is from the 2017 eclipse.

At the end of the video, as all of the passengers are exiting the shuttle, there are around 8-10 police officers and a couple of police dogs standing at the building entrance. After all of the passengers are disembarked, the law enforcement and their dogs, board the shuttle and go out to Viking Octantis. I am wondering if anyone can explain the reason for this?
The solar panels are discernable
It doesn't show much details, does it?
This transit was 23 degrees above the eastern horizon. When they are overhead, they appear much larger with more detail, but they also move across the Sun in less than a second.

Hey! This is the way I remember Lake Superior around Pictured Rocks back in the 40's when I was a kid. Waves rolling in and crashing against the cliffs near Miners Castle. And the wind like to blow you off those cliffs, too! 😮😮😮😂😂😂
