Perhaps think about what you are going to say before pressing record. Not remembering the name of your character tends to damage credibility. Also, the word you are looking for is not "box" but rather "container." FO4 considers anything into which something can be stored to be a "container." This includes the settlement itself due to the Workbench. And while that is a "good to know," I don't see anything related to "managing Settlements." Nor does the video describe how one has been "managing settlements wrong." Maybe change the title.

Alternate start is probably my favorite mod. I use it for my character, the neighbor who makes it to the vault and the crew moves people around. It works best for me. I liked your video. I haven't worked with the DLS for contraptions and this was helpful. Thanks.

I was going to suggest a drinking game for this video but the word I expected to be used a lot was not. Suck only got used once. On the other hand our slightly demented Shade uttered the phrase "Pull out" nine times. So there you go, 9 shots of your favorite adult beverage to toast this "mind blowing" video. I'm lazy so I just use mods to solve the issue of the settlers only being able to put one days food/scrap production in the workshop in the vanilla game.

You could start a new Fallout series videos. Either all around FO4, or touch New Vegas too. Ideas for these series: 1) Thematic runs: Lots of channels already propose builds around some sort of theme or aesthetic, however, very little is posted about making full runs with such builds. 2) Mod review: An honest deep review of mods, especially large ones, could be apprecited. You can start with one I'm personally enjoying, The Attack of the Lobotomites. 3) Mod stability review: For some reason, some updated mods keep crashing, or throw file corruption after certain amount of time, explaining which mods do this, or what oad orders do this, will be a boon to the community. 4) Gear review: Everyone points to high caliber guns and heavy armor as the best gear, but no one seems to talk about the actual viability of such. Sometimes mid-game gear is better because ammo is more plentiful, or armor is easier to come by; what good is an uber armor if you only get it at the very end? 5) Settlement review: A fresh perspective on which settlements are best for glue farms (tato, mutfuit and corn), which are best for player home (Follower hub), and which are best left for Mercer safehouse (hangedman alley is the obvious best).

This sounds like exactly what I've been looking for. My son and I picked up the game for free from Epic this last week but playing on the servers that are on multiplayer sucks! So I was hoping to host my own server as my machine is not bad. I'll let you know if we get it working in Aug 2024 on 1.11.8. Thanks again!

I just got this for free via Epic and I'd rather not go through Nexus Mod Manager for Mods so I might get it via steam in the future, plus it has a hell of a lot less CPU usage than Space Engineers and a lot more to do

Yea, but you can just set 800% xp and just do missions and kill zombies. I just see no reason to not play on 800% xp. Yes, this method will be even faster on 800%, but really is not needed.

I thought firespark said anything that gives you a higher yeild of ore gives you a minus to your xp?

So this game is just that dead or what? i bought it becuase i was using the Pirated versiona nd wondering why only China mainly had servers from Players as Hosts. Little did I know, I'd buy the full game and I'd see the same small list of those people (primarily) playing and hosting servers. I thought I was just getting access to shitty pirated servers like it happened with Friday The 13th back in the day when i first Pirated that game but nope. It seems there's hardly anyone in the US or UK hosting servers which really sucks cause I have no friends that have this game. I got far into this game all by myself within 5 grindy days of playing it but I wish I could join a regularly hosted server from someone. Dedicated servers are dead too.

I was able to join my friend the first time, but after we quit out for the night and tried again the next day, It would keep giving a popup "Internal Error" every time, and I would show up in his server list as connected, but all I was seeing was the empyrion menu background. Restarted, verified files, deleted cache and redownloaded files, double checked hosts yaml file didn't have a password. In both cases the server was not showing up under "friends" in multiplayer, but I could join through Steam by right-clicking their name and selecting "Join Game"

A simple wooden chest would be a HUGE help. Drop one in front, and fill with awesome loot.

I believe the reason you find machineguns more often is because you have points in machineguns.

The last patch has fixed the rubble in the basement issue. Hearing myself leads me to the conclusion I need a better mic.

the problem I found with the enemy spawns in that mission is it is trying to spawn all three of them on the same spot. but the AI breaks and doesn't move them off the spawn location. So when you kill them they lock the spawn location until the dead body de spawns and it can spawn another one. same thing happens in the second section just with two spawn points instead of 1.

I spent half the video yelling look up to find the second button and the hooks. The other half yelling stop because you kept going past the door at the very top of the temple for some loot which you never found. *bangs head on desk*

We have total opposite playstyles, not saying my way is better but I’ve found for the difficulty I play on which is called insane i believe that’s the hardest one I can’t remember off the top of my head rn I’ve found it better to not be a jack of all trades like this but to really hone in on specific skills that will narrow down your playstyle so you can be really efficient in killing, this to me seems like a default game difficulty build where it’s easy enough to survive without needing to be a master of any 1 skill set
