nice ones. i wonder if those would be good catfish cutbait. when getting other bait is tough sometimes ill go with my friend doing nets for buffalos in western ky they work pretty good on the trotlines for commercial fishing.
I heard they are good catfish bait and I even tried it before but with no luck

How long do they stay on the hook? I've tried and it seems no more than 11 minutes which is really too little. How long do you keep the method in the water before changing the pickups? Thank you
I'm not sure why they would be falling off so soon..I sun bake mine for 30 minutes or so plus I leave them out over a few nights

What's a sea band?
Google it will help with all those folks throwing up .

What rod is the light blue with orange handle, and what lb line you use?
Those are just Tiger poles from Walmart that I spray painted and added orange electric tape to, I use 20 lb but 17 lb will do the job

What did he mean at 12:51 2 1/2 hour soak.
His bait and pick up have been in the water for 2 and a half hours...so he he baited the pole casted out and let it sit for 2 and a half hours before a fish bit

Let Jack catch the fish.. your at a puddle. The puddle has been stocked up with giants. Just let Jack fish. It's a stocked pond. He can't loose .
I see that the rods have hooks on the end to keep them from being pulled in. Is this custom made ?
I tapped them on...they are the hooks you screw in the wall or to hang plants from, it allows you to point the rod tip downward right at the top of the water so the wind can't blow your line and when a fish gets on the pole will lift up, and the hooks holds it in the rod holders
nice ones. i do some trot line commercial fishing now i live in western ky and sometimes ill be like damn i got a big cat and then it will be a huge buffalo. last one got away which sucks since the market will still buy them to sell them to these pay lakes so then guys like you can do these tournaments. they do buy some bigger catfish for the same reason but only for a few months out of the year. nice ones though.
