They have opened a lot more trails in the past couple years. Its a great place to ride!

Some of this is private property. Salt creek is an area with lots of trails nearby we normally go to.

This was a pretty far ride that took all day to get there from ashland resort. I dont remember the trail numbers but it was North West of ashland.

Some of this is private property outside of Ray. The rest is mostly north of 50 and up towards salt creek.

@@JSTIVISON64 We live north of Columbus but visit friends in Vinton. Not much to ride in Ohio. WV is great, also Rush and Mine Made in KY are awesome.

I am not sure what trail number these are exactly but yes its all on the 4 mile side and its lots of the blue trails that zig zag thru the area.

Its called a Sak-It. Just an easy thing to store trash in while out riding.

You just have to know the right people lol

This is just south of the mineshaft / fans at pineville. If your looking at a map its part of a green trail that leads to the mineshaft.

Flag rock just north of Ashland Resort is a really awesome place and you can hit up Outlaw Bar & Grill on the way there. If you go north west from there to Pineville, that's where you will find the mineshaft rescue tunnel and the wild horses in that area. There is so much to see out there you can't really go wrong. I use the BobT maps with Back Country Nav Pro and it has everything marked out really nice.

The mine rescue shaft is just south of Pinesville. I used the BOBT maps to find it, its marked out really well and was easy to find.

It was a challenge but well worth it!

Sorry its been awhile I couldn't tell ya the trail numbers. I will say that in my experience trail pops are fine everywhere as long as you are respectful and not causing a problem. Mine made was full of great people including the staff.

If you are a first timer there I would recommend you stick to what is mapped, there are lots of outlaw trails that connect that I could not find a map for.

They have a couple, this trail 11 is actually different now they bulldozed it. Trail 6 is the worst they do not maintain it on purpose.

It is a good mixture of both. If you stay close to the campground its fairly mild with a couple nice hills and view points. The further you venture out the worse it gets.
