The progress on the cabin is impressive-what challenges do you anticipate when building the deck, especially considering the weather conditions in Alaska?
@KeyserTheRedBeard exactly that . The weather but we will keep moving forward. So many other projects also happening so plenty indoor work. We are planning to cut all boards to fit, build an insulated area under the deck to keep the water tank from freezing and apply railings around the edge to prevent any mishaps. We also need to insulate under the cabin and finish the cedar siding. Fingers crossed will get done soon

@PaulCampbell-mo1vc we are off grid, we have moose up here, bear that tries to get in our garden, coyotes and wolves. You bet we are. We have to protect ourselves and our dogs. We lost our chickens and the bears that invade the bee hut

@BeenTooTired unfortunately we are in a small cabin for now. Reason for no food pantry. Our goals are to Start building our home this coming year. Believe me, I do not like it either. . We plan to start with a cellar for our foid storage. I can't wait for the day I'm out if this Lil cabin. Thank you for your response. It's tough sometimes
