Rule#1: Never take advice from management consulting firms, but listen to actual "doers", the real businessmen and field people who put bolts and nuts together. If these "consultants" knew how to do it, they would do it, before they lecture about it. With all due respect to this gentleman, and regardless of agreeing or disagreeing what he and other Management consulting firms say, these consulting firms are known for providing advice to businesses and organizations in order to improve their operations, increase profitability, and achieve success. However, there are several reasons why you should be cautious when considering their advice. First, management consulting firms often have a one-size-fits-all approach to solving business problems. They may use templates and frameworks that have worked for other clients, but may not necessarily work for your unique situation. This can lead to generic and superficial solutions that fail to address your specific needs. Second, management consulting firms may lack in-depth knowledge of your industry and market. While they may have general business knowledge and expertise, they may not understand the intricacies and nuances of your particular industry. This can lead to recommendations that are not practical or relevant to your business. Third, management consulting firms can be expensive. Their services can be costly, and the return on investment may not always be worth it. They may recommend costly changes or investments that are not feasible or necessary for your business. Finally, actual businessmen who have experience in your industry can often provide more relevant and practical advice. They understand the day-to-day operations, the challenges, and the opportunities of your business. They have firsthand knowledge and experience that consulting firms may not have. In conclusion, while management consulting firms can provide valuable insights and recommendations, it is important to take their advice with a grain of salt. Listening to actual businessmen who have experience in your industry can often provide more relevant and practical advice that is tailored to your specific needs.

Now if only the ENTIRE world could understand this concept, and let government dissolve into the waste bin of history.

Acient Egypt is characterized by those with a top down hierarchical mentality as also a top down society. Evidence shows IT WAS NOT! It was a horizontal organizaion. This occulting and obfuscation of this ancient society's true nature was done with apparent intent to make hierarchical government the only (monopoly) from of government to disallow the advantage of horizontal model to keep the few at the top in power of the masses. The word Pharaoh did not mean a King as most believe. It means literally, The House. This erroneous interpretation is an error of a prime presupposition in our human logic. There were no gods in Egypt. Just symbols used as principles and Axioms of nature. No man king anthropomorphic god at the top of the their hierarchical structure. The Mayan are also cast into a mold of being hierarchical in nature which again was as I have found intentional. The Mayan world is an Analog of Egypt complete this pyramids and the same cosmology. The Universe was alive with intelligence and filled with mathematics and the algorithms of life. This was not a KIng. They universally showed the bird as symbol (not a god) of freedom and It appears they knew birds had no hierarchical government to keep they from raising to the heights of heavens and fling across all boundaries. There is deep wisdom in antiquity including the core beliefs of the Renaissance period as many Philosophers of the Greeks who studied in Egypt, have discovered. Please do your due diligence before you judge this statement as false.

I absolutely loved listening to this. I'm currently doing my MBA specializing in sales and marketing management and you did a much better job at summarizing some of the differences between horizontal(flat) and Hierarchical(vertical) structures than any of the other sources I've read. Can you point me to any other resources on the matter please? Thanks a million.
