I thank you for sharing this video! As it’s located right next to the East Coast Mainline I’ve often seen the track and some infrastructure from trains in passing. Now, thanks to your video I enjoyed a trip round the interesting lay-out! Question…were the flickering signals a form of pre-arranged message between the signal box Operator and the loco driver? Me and my mate (the one who got us tones) were slightly further down the platform. We were on platform 4 until we noticed the 37s might be coming to a halt on P3 due to a blocking unit so ran down to see them on 3, great thrash and tones!
