My first playthrough also took me 5 hours to beat the game, it's just a lot of time put into practice and learning the game with an awesome community.

Given that they have intelligence, I like to think they were EXTREMELY careful, going slowly and not taking any risks.

Most if not all of the X had hosts at this point, the only way they could get infected is if they engaged in combat with some of the hosts.

Adam speculated they didn't have any combat potential and were thus worthless (even though the Dachoras can shinespark, which is a really impressive power)

There's an old game theory ep saying that they did...pretty interesting to watch. Though with Dread I guess it effectively kills that theory?

They're native to SR388. Samus rescued them. She gave them to the federation. The federation put them on the BSL. Then they sent Samus to the BSL.

You can use powerbombs to check rooms but yeah it's not as strong as the x ray scope
