Im guessing you are 40+ years old from your bio. Since you are older I think shorter hair maybe like a bob would be more appropriate. Plus seeing your face shape and features, shorter hair would be a better fit. Yeah I get that you love your long hair and all, and probably had it for a long time. But I think I change would be good and better with shorter hair. You won’t know how you would look with short hair unless you try. If u dont like it, grow it back out or get extensions. I wrote this lengthy paragraph bc I encourage you to cut it to your shoulders or higher. It is freeing, easier to style, less maintenance, and modern. I used to have long hair to my thighs and then cut it to my chin and dont regret it. Please reconsider chopping it❤❤❤
@@Elles1heart Thank you! I’m considering a few inches & maybe getting it angled. But the styling part is what scares me. At least now I just have to stay awake until it dries. HOWEVER, I decided to buy a flat iron! Apparently one can curl with it and it makes it look nicer when it’s straight. But I wouldn’t feel comfortable with medium- short lengths. And I’d definitely never get extensions! I’m a very low maintenance gal. 😉
@@TrinaGallo Hey! Thank you for the response. I understand the fact that you aren’t comfortable with chopping your hair off after so many of years. It would be a very drastic change. I have an idea for you. I had a friend who had similar length hair as you. She cut 3 inches every 2 months so she can get more and more comfortable. Eventually she actually got a pixie which is very short in my opinion lol. You should maybe try this because it wouldn’t be as uncomfortable for you to do. Maybe you can work it all the way up to your collarbone. I definitely get how your hair is part of your identity, but having a change and experimenting with different things and seeing if you would like it is good. Hair grows back if you hate it, so I definitely think you should try this method at least once in your life. What do you think about this?❤️❤️❤️

I started recently going gray i have similar hair to you but not as nice, its below the waist and wavy, i have 30 percent gray and im in my late forties, im very surprised i only have 30 percent, i have extremely oily hair with eczema on my scalp i use wella color in sunlight blonde brown my hair is currently a bronze color, may i ask what your natural color is because the color you have looks natural not dyed and do you recommend a specific hair dye/color for very long hair? Thank you 😁
Thanks for the comment AND compliment! Good eye! Yes, I currently have virgin hair and my natural color WAS light auburn (red/ light brown, w/ gold highlights). I had oil in during the vid, so it looked darker. Your hair sounds like it’s a beautiful color. Regarding dying, I recommend semi-permanent, especially since it’s so long and beautiful. Personally, I get a color gloss about annually. *** Find a GREAT colorist to consult with.*** Use your gut. You may want to consult with multiple colorists if you don’t already have one you trust with your life. You inspired me to do a vid on which color gray hair look like on different complexions, etc. Thanks! My BIGGEST “hack” is to UV protect. Regarding the eczema, I don’t want to recommend any products since your scalp is compromised. EXCEPT WEN 319. It’s hypoallergenic and very effective! However, I’d recommend going to a dermatologist or trichologist. Until then, try to avoid fragranced products. 😊💕

I have similar hair not as nice but close to the same color and texture and what i do is i bring it to the front but i don't cross it and then i trim it across and get the u shape, sometimes it comes out like a v shaped too, your hair is so pretty 💚 you mentioned you are gen x in one of your videos i am i!! 💚✌🏼

I’m LAZY! 😴I like to wake up and not have to do anything but sometimes brush it a little, like my current style. However, I’m going for a U shaped cut possibly with face framing layers… 🤞🏼

@@Cancerian48 I love that you called me a “young lady”😃. I did get my hair cut short once and it looked terrible on me. The shortest I’d feel comfortable with is a bit below shoulder length. But that’s way down the road! Like in a few decades when I’m older & grayer.
