I like your rewrite. However, there's still this problem I noticed. Why does Thomas just chase Diesel still. Could you have had him become a runaway and Thomas had to save him but the log wagons go over and almost take Diesel with him?

Honestly, I've seen alot of bad episodes, but the worst in my opinion, is season 12's "Push me pull you". at least there's no "What a beautiful day" in the beginning, but it's the worst Skarloey episode by far... in my opinion.

I guess maybe that I actually have a theory that Thomas still has his wonky whistle since season 15
