Amorim's mission will fail miserably. The main problem is that he intends to replace intelligent and artistic play with rigid structure and learned rules. But a rigid structure, and rules will never fit exactly the need of the actual situation in the field. Intelligent decisions by each player, and not tactical rules, is needed to win at the very top of clubs. Amorim does not seem to understand this. He seems only to train the players to obey rules and not to play in a creative way. He also have a mentality that only he himself is allowed to be the a star in MU not any player. This kind of mentality takes the way all joy of playing and that curbs the results. New players will not do any good under this coach, only be a waste of money. Ten Hag is also a coach advocating rules and structure, only with another formation as base. Also he brought in a lot of new players that did not make much good under his leadership. With Amorim Mu has got a new coach of Ten Hag's type, but perhaps even more rigid and with a new prefered formation.

When other coaches are achieved progress with less expensive players, the present coach of MANU wants expensive players and what guarantees can he offer that he will produce the desired goal?
