    So far I've listened to half where she's high management. So if these people are under her, assuming she's the one hiring.. why not have them take personality tests to see if they'll be a good fit for her team and choose employee from there

    • @NLPwithDrHeidi
      @NLPwithDrHeidi 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for watching! The simplest answer is that personality profiles kinda suck! They have a place, but in my opinion, hiring is not one of them. People generally don't give an accurate answer - most of the time they answer either how they think the recruiter wants them to be or how they wish they were - not always shining a light on their own truth. When I'm training people in NLP, I want you to be able to have a chat with someone and figure out what programs a person uses based on a few conversational questions. I hope that helps! - Heidi

      We always tailor to whoever the client is who is sitting in front of us. This is the flexibility of NLP and respecting another persons model of the world.

    Great insight, thanks! I never really gave much credence to Mazlow's Hierarchy because I thought it was very aspirational. Does anybody ever reach self-actualisation? But your explanation gives a broader insight into each level, and that makes better sense.

    • @NLPwithDrHeidi
      @NLPwithDrHeidi หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! I don't think 'normal' people ever reach self-actualisation.. but perhaps the Ghandi, Jesus, and Buddah of the world do - at times. So, far and few between. Personally it's not quite my goal.

    • @NLPwithDrHeidi
      @NLPwithDrHeidi หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well, one of the steps is from 1st position (associated), and the other step is from 2nd position (dissociated). 3rd isn't a part of the Swish Pattern. Hope this helps!

    The video talks about accessing cues, which is a technique used in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) to understand how people store and access information in their minds. Here are the key learnings: Eye movements are indicative of where a person is accessing information in their mind. Up and down: Visual information Sideways: Auditory information Down and left/right: Internal dialogue or self-talk/feelings By understanding eye accessing cues, you can ask better questions and direct conversations based on what's going on inside of someone's mind. Eye accessing cues can be used to identify where someone stores information (like a warehouse for memories). This can be useful in understanding a person's communication style and learning style. By looking up, you can access visual information and potentially suppress tears. This is because looking up makes it harder to access the area of the mind that stores emotions. Brainstorming is easier when a person is looking up because this area of the mind is where visual information is stored.
