This video was 9.5 minutes of watching someone make 9 patches…. And through one of those NARROW, TALL screen, can hardly see details (obviously a phone settings issue) kind of frame. Then FINALLY at 09:30 the viewer gets to see how a Blooming 9 Patch quilt is actually put together on a design wall. The most important parts aren’t actually explained, only shown on the design wall…….. here’s hoping that the viewer understands (on their own) what the process is……

Your quilt is gorgeous!I love Kaffe fabrics. Your instructions are great too. I have found a pattern on the Learn how to quilt website but that only gives fabric requirements based upon using 4 fabrics. I want to make mine larger like yours & use the same amount of fabric combos. I just can’t figure out how many different fabrics you used & how much fabric to buy per go around. Could you please help me with this? Thanks so much.
