ZX6R for first bike and mods
2023 ZX6R is my first ever bike so here's an overview of that and the mods I've done so far (Exhaust clip at 3:25)

I started on a piece of shit chinese made 70 cc bike. Used it for few years. Then finally got the money and bought a brand new Ninja 650. Now I am buying a new ZX-6R. The appreciation I have for my new bike is out of this world bcuz I know the struggle.
Any update? Im about to the the 3 day course and plan on getting a 2024 zx6r! Any advice other than learn throttle control lol 😆 so excited.

My first bike is a 2006 gsxr 600. I never rode a motorcycle until I got it was a wedding gift. I have been riding 2 years now. Most important thing is get you some leather riding suit. Then, set the bike up for your comfort.
I actually just bought full leathers last week cause it was about time I saved my skin if I go down!
Learners should start with 300/400 cc understand the dynamics of riding. Ride safe and try not to crash coz thats what will get we bikers a bad name !
Havnt crashed yet and more than comfortable. Make sure you ride inside you limits and respect the power of the bike and you’ll be okay
4 cylinders will always sound good with or without an expensive exhaust.
I have a full name brand exhaust on it now and it sounds a little better in my opinion. It sounds throatier and deeper
Wear earplugs or risk nerve damage. If your ears ring there's been damage.
Yeah, I’m going to pick some up this weekend. My ears already ring when trying to go to bed so at this point I’m just going more deaf lol

Ignore the haters. This bike is amazing! I just purchased a 09 Zx6r and I have the exact same exhaust setup LOL. I love these bikes.
I just needed it to get me threw 1 month of riding till winter hit and didn’t feel like spending $$$ 😂
Picking my zx6r up in a week. Mate, reading your comments is great. Australia is so crap, $3.5k a year for my insurance. Could buy a bike for that. You thinking about wrapping it?
I pay $1800 yearly for my insurance and actually bought new fairings. The bike looks totally different now and I’ll be making a video this weekend 😎

Great choice, nice color, and im not going to tell you what not to do bro, but i will just lend some friendly advice, NEVER, push yourself past your EXPERIENCE level, get use to your bike, your feelings etc, extend yourself rationally, and dont be one of them dummies that FOLLOWS the crowd just because, or to prove a point, these bikes are like the ocean, very enjoyable and exciting, go beyond your limit and you may find you cant swim as well as you thought...........enjoy yourself and know your limitations.

What's all done to it? I need significant body work to power wheelie 3rd on mine and I have an exhaust tune and snorkel delete lol
The MT07 in video just has a full exhaust and tune. Thats it, he just bounces the bike once, pins it and gives her a good yank and she pops right up!!
i road raced a 07 and she was awesome i bet your girl is 100 % times better . my friend has one just havent spun her yet. enjoy it and hope you get miles of smiles out of that sweet girl.
Nothing wrong with starting with a 636. The only problem with starting with a nice new bike is that everyone drops their first bike while either moving it around, forgetting the kick stand, or many other noob ways. I started on 1000cc old bike. Dropped it and didn’t care.
And I did drop it on gravel so you are not wrong at all. I bought new fairings and put them on, I’ll make an update video soon with all the new mods soon!

Nice bike and mods. You went straight to a fast bike. No problem, if you don't get too hyped up by the available performance. BTW, I have heard "Puig" pronounced as "pooj". French, I think.

I don't think it too big for a first bike. I would just say to ppl be respectful and don't be an asshole and you'll be fine. One thing I would gripe about. Why would you get a bike so new for a newbie.
Exactly. Respect the bike and you’ll be okay. As for why I bought a brand new bike off the show room floor, honestly it just because it was a good deal since the 24s where coming out soon and I wanted something I knew I was going to love and not somebody’s half project
Yeah that's a great way to look at it for sure. I was only saying as if it was dropped I'd be pretty upset with a new bike as a older one. Still you have a badass bike. 😎 ride safe my friend.
I own both. Mt09 is slower but from a dig the mt would be faster to 60 mph then lose.
Nothing wrong with experimenting or changing things up until you get it how you want it. People can hate all they want, it’s not theirs.
The bike is completly changed now. It has new fairings, a full exhaust, tuned, ect. I'll make an updated video of it soon when the weather gets nicer!!!!

just bought my 2019 zx636 a week ago (also my first bike) just going to chill out in low power mode for a bit till i get comfortable
I stayed in low power mode for 500 miles and just got use to the bike. It has the same low end as full power but it DRASTICALLY numbs the top end power. This is exactly what I did and recommend 110%
that's crazy that that's your first bike. I want the zx4r but not sure as a first
Do it up!!! I've never ridden the 4R but it's a popular option as a first bike for a reason.
Zx4r can still be a 1st bike but not zx6r or 10r - ride safe !

Tip - if you want to improve your riding choose a route outside of the city you know well of say 10 miles with plenty of different bends. Put some time into riding the route until you understand the bends better (the braking point, camber, elevation, quality of the road etc). Eventually you will find the bends easier to ride and you'll be able to increase your speed, adjust your braking and maybe adjust your riding style. I had one, my mate had a totally different one. And lower your gear selector an inch or two so you don't have to lift your foot as high to change gear 👍
