As a Lifeskiller, I gave up on BDO 1-2 years ago. I realized that I can't love a game where the developers actively ignore my own feelings for it. For me, BDO is now just a tool to have fun. I no longer play content that frustrates me. So I enjoy Oluns for Ring Piece (2-3hours a week), playing AoS, a bit of lifeskilling and enhancing for profit every now and then. With the release of loml2 on the horizon, I also want to learn all the c7 bosses, so I'm prepared to not flame the game on how bad they are. In the past I've barely gotten less than 6 hours of play time, now if I don't grind an hour or quque aos I don't get more than 10 minutes most of the days. The bitter sweet taste in your mouth never goes away, when thinking about BDO

I am a veteran player that have 20k+ hours in the game and tried every aspect of it and here is my take : I started playing since 2016 i am 90% sure that i watched almost every bdo video there is ( compilation, guides, whole bdo creators videos, and some pvp montages ) i can say with 100% confidence i have never been obsessed with any game like this. while it was my first mmo it will have a dear place in my heart.. sometimes i wnna say that i am sorry for my self for spending tons of thousands of hours 20k+ on this game and but in the same time i am not sorry there is moments when all the boys were here and we enjoyed it .. when i remember i used to take vacation of work to play more bdo like 16 or 18 hours a day now all that feels it like a waste i am sad to say even playing bdo while i have nothing to do is not worth it now.. u were one of my favourite creators in this game .. thank you very much for your hard work and for the run all in all .. time to close the game and never turn it on. Since PA WILL HAND HELD IT TO THE GRAVE !

Real talk and I am a console main where its even worse. We can't even xfer to pc. But didn't realize pc was dying as well. I guess this is what you call a lost cause

I started around 2015 finally prema quit mid-2019, sold 2 accounts, and never look back. I missed all the amazing memories of endless battles from morning to dawn at top PVP guild. On the other side, thousands of hours of grinding/griefing, RNGesus enchantment, lifeskill feel like a second job, mandatory node war, siege ( love it, hate it). The main reason I quit was because it cost me more of my social life, the game both mentally and physically drained me. Thank you for laying off your thoughts, it was beautiful. Hope you another game that refreshes your feelings and passion the same way BDO did to you brother.

PA needs to revert the changes they've made from the dec changes, onward. Bring back the old system and make little adjustments. Sweeping, core changing updates never work out.

I came to the same conclusion before I stopped playing months ago. They would need to overhaul the game to be what it should be and I can't see them doing that. So I peaced out. It did hurt and still does seeing that the game is now worse off than when I left

The veteran player base is shrinking quite fast. The game just seems like a predatory cash grab for new unsuspecting players now anymore. I haven't been back much since around the time black robe was taken out. Seems as though the direction has managed to get even worse

Divios (BlueDragon; still wanting a purple version lol ) dang love ya man, ik I wasn't able to watch you every stream. But when I could I would watch you and this is sad to see you go bud. The state the PA has put the game in I can understand though. Cho closing the curtain was and is also a shock of news. I can understand though even though if you remember I am on Console which is in a even worse state than PC. My guild went from 95 to 15 members since the Heidel ball bc of PA being well PA. Only one we can truly blame for it all is Jae for fumbling worse than the Cowboys during the play-offs never to make the SB. But JJ leaving also says something. Especially since she went to Ubi for Throne and Liberty. Basicly a slap in the face to PA(Jae) for their (his) stubbornness and ignorance. The only way BDO is truly going to get fixed is by Jae is either FIRED or he does the right thing and resigns his position to someone that actually cares about the game AND the community as a whole. Would you be headed over to TnL or what is your next step bud?

Well, I'll say this. The comment about not being able to customize your character enough is unsubstantiated. BDO has the most in-depth character creator I've ever seen. The amount of ways you can customize your look is infinite. Yeah, the costumes cost an arm and a leg but BDO has been out long enough that most people could make a very unique character. It sounds like you just want something to tell everyone how good you are at the game, and not actual character customization.

No more prestige in getting top place? darn sad whats the point then? Its not even about that, then if you are not recognize for your achievement then you are just probably considered a cash cow.

So, lets get it straight, you are complaining, that end game is... end game? That end game gear is end game gear? Well, yeah, what did you expected?

Even if I didn't do much pvp and players knew me mostly for screenshots and events, when I started BDO 3 years ago, having open PvP pushed me to improve, learn my class and give the progression purpose and I loved it. The moment war declaration got changed it was slowly getting worse. I left 3 months ago, went to France for Heidel Ball since I bought my tickets earlier and I gotta say - that was last nail to my BDO coffin, Jay ignoring community outrage on NW continuously, even on live stage and pretending all is good. It was the worst ball I saw. With PEN bs given for free I only thought - "What's the point to grind if 1 year later it will be just given for free in name of catching up while not improving ways to actually get that gear". I get that new players yada yada gotta catch up for pvp scene, but that pvp scene is dead right now. Pve has nothing to offer other than spinning in circles, just swapping scenery. I liked the danger of open pvp during grind. I agree 1h of Marni a day was needed for some, but making it 1h cd completely cut off any kind of interactions as well. Class balance is keep on being living joke while they keep adding more classes on top of mess. Game completely lost its bones that made it successful, open pvp and complexity. Now it feels like it could be just another mobile game mmo.....Its been a good run while it lasted and shame, because I just got to my +730 GS that year and everything crumbled way before when I thought I could finally start defending my spots and go through that Heidel Pass with zero fears and see my point of gearing up. I used to root a lot for PA but that ended with their lack of care to community feedback. Lot of new games on horizon, waiting for Path of Exile 2 personally. To come back to BDO they would need a true miracle and exorcism on whatever the heck of abomination they speed ran as game for last year. Even if they add new content its just another grind zone to get one item and never come back. And its always giving rushed and unfinished feeling like Ulukita, which had no houses to buy in town at first.....it was suppose to be red player heaven via lore, Jay didn't allow it, but happily allows griefing. Sad to see it go down like this because I genially hoped it would become my mmo to play for many more years. It is what it is, time to move on. Good luck on your journey ahead! <3

I hope that PA takes time to listen to player with such passion, progress and time in order to make the improvements needed. It's such a mess that so much has to be done and thank you for the message you share. You wear your heart on your sleeve when you talk about this game and my heart breaks listening to yours as you express such love for a game we all share and love as well. We all want whats best but sadly I fear we wont steer the direction this game needs to head. Sending love, good vibes and a hug your way. I hope that this isnt goodbye, but a break that is needed in order for things to truly become better overall. Goodluck on your content creation endeavors, we will be here for the ride.

Pearl Abyss has been doing everything they can to make sure that people at end game have nothing to do other than grind more towers / circles. It's such a shame and we've been saying for years that BDO has such amazing fundamentals that never got the refinement they needed. I'm with you man, it's done for me as well.
