#subangparadeliftlobby2 Well the left lift is being replaced by Schindler 5000. Might do a Old vs New series here once the new lift is completed. The door operator now makes a loud noise when the door shuts.

This video is for @lovelyliftinanyplaces7040 As you can see, L7A is being replaced by Schindler 5000. It's kinda sad seeing the original lift being replaced but the condition of the lift is bad & they deserve a replacement. The lifts were originally R-Series back in 1988 but then modernized to M-Series #liftlobby7 #subangparadeliftlobby7

Extra info: There's 2 lifts. And on of them do served floor 1A (the secret floor) while the another one that I was riding didn't serve that floor. But it seems like whoever doing the modernization work were trying to cut conners by just copy and paste the same configuration from the other lift. So you ended up with something like this.

So the conclusion is: never cut conners and always take time to set up things properly
It's a Schindler Elegant MRL and everything is still original

This lot has been abandoned for some years ever since the old company went bankrupt so I assume that there is no luck in maintaining the Toshiba. I’m not sure if it’s replaced recently but looks brand new so yeah.

All fixtures are replaced by STEP on ground floor including the original lifts.
Others are already modernized by Sword (a generic company)
