Great tutorial, was on the look out for making DIY leaves for 1/35 diorama... Just a quick question (I can do a trail and error but I will ask) Instead of using resin, can I not use simple PVA glue? TXS!

I am ignorant: why not use real dried leaves and blend them to size? Because they may rot? I'm new to dioramas and miniatures.
Hey Max MF! You can use real dried leaves but depending on the scale your modeling they may be too thick...the other 2 reasons I don 't use them is one side of real leaves end up with the nice color and the bottom is usually blandish tan/brown and the leaf veins are hard to sift out and end up polluting the leaves with tiny sticks everywhere...you can buy a scale leaf punch that can work around the veins but you still have the thickness and color problem..Hope this helps Max!

i have a question, i have a @ scale model part that i want to bring up to 1:8 size, what would the multiplication i need to do this, its a stupid question but i fried my brain.
HaHa! Hey messylaura the avg height of a 50 Gal drum is about 33.5 inches by 22.5 inches so that would make 1/8th scale about 4.1 inches tall by 2.8 inches wide..Hope that helps😉😁
Friendly daily reminder that resin is toxic and does not belong in the hobby room.
hey, just so you know, yes resin is toxic but it has a massive place in the hobby room if you use it correctly. I use resin to make a living and as long as you're wearing gloves, having good ventilation and/or wearing a mask you'll be fine. If you need more ways to keep safe whilst using resin their are some great channels such as Evan and Katelyn.

I can help you, i make silicone concrete block molds, brick molds, roman columns, military bunkers, etc.

@@colossalbigfoot256 i made 1/24, 1/16, 1/12 , 1/10 scale. 1/24 was tough as the blocks would often break when removing from the mold. I make them custom so any scale is available. Yes, i do have ebay. I am less familair but would be willing to make a post you could look at and purchase if yourbinterested
