hello, thanks for the feedback! it was mere happenstance that the thumbnail did feature 2/6 of the game's true culprits that the game didnt directly tell you ahead of time, but i see your perspective and will keep that in mind for the next thumbnail/title.. thanks again!

it's clear that they wanted nostalgia to play a decent role in people's enjoyability of the case, but im interested in hearing your final thoughts

I remember why now. It was meant to be such a surprise with time travel and it all just fell so flat with me. The characters were kinda sub par and the case held no excitement. The only real thing it had was nostalgia factor but that's not enough to save a boring case

Absolutely. It didn't even fit the rest of the game and was just all so disappointing

i've never played the japanese version so i personally didn't immediately notice issues such as those, but it's impressive how you're able to pick up on subtle things like that

yeah, i was happy to see blackquill get solid screen time outside of his main game (unlike klavier rip).. and not seeing nahyuta's typical arrogant demeanor due to blackquill was definitely welcome too

that’s a fair point, but on my first playthrough i was interested in the starting of the revolution at the end of 6-3, and i felt relatively confused by the abrupt setting change afterwards. i still like the case itself though, as unpopular as it might be

haha, and there are definitely some people who like the case just for that too

i thought the 1st half was a little long but i agree the ending was the highlight.. one of the better case 3s in the series for me

true, it was the best time to mention it then, though i guess technically lamiroir said she wanted to be the one to tell them. and yes, i dont think it took away from the lore, but even a brief mentioning or showing of mr reus in apollo justice wouldve helped

yeah, really dubious about if a 10hr video is a good idea. and the apollo trilogy extras that i saw were just turnabout reclaimed and time traveler... unless theres something i missed

it reminds me a bit of turnabout big top, but instead this case is actually great.. i dont have much negative to say about this one

true, they cant leave edgeworth out for too long... i appreciated apollo's character development, it was long overdue

Adding back the magatama even after using Focus and Widget was fantastic, you get internally hype the first time seeing those locks, or as Edgeworth says, "psycho locks" 😂

yeah, chronologically case 1 happens between 4 and 5, which surprised me on my first playthrough

I get what they were trying to do in changing the story telling but it came off as slightly confusing my first run through

that’s interesting.. i don’t think he’s an awful antagonist, but he would’ve been better if they didn’t make it so obvious he was the culprit, and/or they gave him a better motive but yes, he is definitely not made to be a sympathized character you’re meant to feel bad for

This one really fell into that third case syndrome for me, it didn't slap as hard as the other cases did and the whole complicated friendship thing just missed the mark. The only two memorable things are Aristotle Means and the whole tying up scene 😂

Absolutely, I did like the whole yokai in the courtroom questioning again, the story was funny and more engaging than this one. See you in the next vid

glad you’re enjoying! apollo justice is not perfect, but it’s still one of my favorites in the series

i’ll miss the og voice, but i’m glad they’re being consistent with the voice in this trilogy
