Seems like a really good concept but not very good in actual use. They made it hard to get into and the internal spaces are not designed very well for real world use. Maybe they'll do better on v3.0?

Compile failed for me after first compile with error: Processing: proxmark3-64 HEAD is now at 899f269a9 Fix wtf bug in t55xxAquireAndCompareBlock0 git: 'remote-https' is not a git command. See 'git --help'. Here's a detailed list of steps I used as workaround for Proxmark3 Easy based on this awesome video and some of the great comments listed below: Download ProxSpace from link from @Yev in video description. 1. Do not connect Proxmark3 Easy to pc yet. 2. Create 2 new folders in your root directory (probably C:) simply called "working" and "working2" that we will use later. 3. Go to your downloads folder and extract the zipped Distro-20210205T82347Z-001 right there. 4. Open the extracted Distro-20210205T82347Z-001 folder and open the folder inside called Distro. 5. Inside you'll see ProxSpace.exe. Right click on ProxSpace.exe and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. 6. A new window will open. Click BROWSE to change the install directory listed there from "ProxSpace" to the "working" folder you created in root directory (probably C:). 7. Install ProxSpace.exe again but this time click BROWSE and change the install directory to the "working2" folder you created in the root directory (probably C:). 8. Open Device Manager. Expand the 'Ports (COM & LPT)' section. Hold down the button on the Proxmark3 Easy and keep holding it down while you plug it into the computer. Take note of what com port the new UNKNOWN DEVICE shows up under in Device Manager. Let go of the button and unplug Proxmark3 Easy from PC. Leave Device Manager window open in background cause we'll need to check it a few times now and again. 9. Open root directory and use notepad to change COM3 to whichever com port your ProxMark3 Easy was in the last step for these 4 files in the folder: C:\working\msys2\ps\autobuild\FLASH - All.bat C:\working\msys2\ps\autobuild\FLASH - Bootrom.bat C:\working\msys2\ps\autobuild\FLASH - fullimage.bat C:\working\msys2\ps\autobuild\Go.bat 10. Do it again inside the working2 folder except add 1 to the last COM port number by opening root directory and using notepad to change COM4 to COM5 or whichever com port was next in line chronologically after the port number you used in step 9 for all 4 files: C:\working2\msys2\ps\autobuild\FLASH - All.bat C:\working2\msys2\ps\autobuild\FLASH - Bootrom.bat C:\working2\msys2\ps\autobuild\FLASH - fullimage.bat C:\working2\msys2\ps\autobuild\Go.bat Don't forget to save your changes to notepad and close all notepads or else you may get an error with files in use. 11. Run C:\working\autobuild.bat and wait a few minutes for it to complete. 12. Run C:\working2\autobuild.bat and wait a few minutes for it to complete. 13. Open C:\working\builds\proxmark3-64 and extract the proxmark3-64-20210205-899970b90982a011b6790b.zip here. 14. Open C:\working2\builds\proxmark3-64 and extract the proxmark3-64-20210205-8999707789a876579b.zip here. 13. Bring up the Device Manager Window and keep an eye on the COM ports listed. 14. Now Hold down the button on the Proxmark3 Easy and don't let go. 15. While holding down the button, connect the USB cable to your computer. After a few moments you should see a new unknown device listed on the COM PORT you used in step 9. 16. Keep holding down the button and run C:\working\builds\proxmark3-64\proxmark3-64-201d082f88c7456539566d\win64\FLASH - Bootrom.bat 17. Don't let go of the button. Watch the device manager cause your Proxmark3 Easy will open and close a few windows and look like it's done but it's not done till it reappears under the next COM PORT you used in step 10. Do not let go of the button. 18. Once device manager shows the proxmark has changed port numbers and the window says it completed successfully, you can give your finger a rest, let go of the button and unplug the usb from the computer. 19. When you are ready to continue with the final step, hold down the button on the proxmark and connect the USB to the computer. Keep holding down the button and run C:\working2\builds\proxmark3-64\proxmark3-64-201d082f88c7456538c89y772dff529566d\win64\FLASH - All.bat till it completes successfully. Works great, cloned HID ProxKey III successfully.
