Not sure if this helps, but after you do the slip stitches, do a stitch marker on the last stitch of the stitch marker and when you come all the way back to it, you skip that one and then you do a slip stitch on the one next to it after that when it comes time to do the final crochets, you skip the slip stitch in the previous round and slip stitch the next one and when you’re working in the round again you skip the slip stitches because they don’t count as stitches and you single crochet all the way around until you get to the top. Also after I finish the rows I have to turn the inside out for the ridges i created to be facing same way i guess i mustve did reverse or something when i did the rows work it was very confusing

Hi, The blanket is not designed to be a spread for the bed, but rather as a lapghan for one person to use to cover on a sofa. It is possible to make it 60'' wide by doubling us all the sts in a row. Although i regards to folding it would require different folding plus the folded body would be absolutely huge and would require a much larger head and limbs. The cow pattern is one of Aneta's first patterns, so she didn't record many video tutorials, she included links for the techniques she is using. Recently, she updated the pattern with some video tutorials only for the cow's head. The graphghan for the blanket is included in the pattern and also Aneta 'translated' it in written instructions. We also offer continuous support and we have a customers-only Facebook group where we can share our makes and discuss the tricky parts with other people who already made the blankets.
