That does not sound like a Gibson. It does not sound focused and like quality.
The Gibson j160e is not supposed to sound like your typical Gibson acoustic as it is built differently than most acoustics. In fact , it is often described as a hollow body electric guitar that looks like an acoustic guitar.

Top,Side&Back are all laminated =ply wood or Veneer
A great player, and great guitar. I absolutely love mine...I could not imagine not having it now after three years. It keeps sounding nicer. I use 13. Strings and changed the nut and saddle to bone, that made it sound even better. Peace

It looks like he’s using a retro string maybe the Martin retro Monel I use those on mine periodically and once they mellow out after an hour of plane or so they have an incredible sound when used with the sicker and Walnut of this guitar
Are these gold tuners? Does this guitar have a three piece back, with maple in the middle?
