🌕✨ Welcome to *Aura Aurora Yoga* with me, Christina! In this special Beaver Super Full Moon Yoga practice, we’ll embark on a transformative journey designed for practitioners of all levels. This class is focused on balancing and aligning the three powerful chakras associated with this Super Full Moon in Taurus: the Root 🔴, Sacral 🟠, and Solar Plexus 🟡.

    🍌To practice Banana Pose: Lie on your back in savasana: arms down by your side; legs apart Right leg to right corner of mat Cross left leg on top inhale arms up over and grab the left wrist with right hand and lift upper body up slightly and move to right forming a banana shape This is a lateral movement (Not a twist) gaze is facing up, eyes closed Come back to Savasana before moving to left side Ending with Savnasana 🍌🧘🏻‍♀️Benefits: Stretches the side body from the outer ankles to the outer arms Relaxes the joints of the spine Stretches oblique and intercostal muscles to aid in deep breathing Balances emotions Settles heavy thoughts Taps into self-confidence and willpower 🫶Meridians Targeted: Stimulates the gallbladder, liver, kidney, lung and heart lines

    🐠To practice Supported Fish Pose: Place a yoga block in-between shoulder blades vertically or horizontally Place a folded blanket to support your middle back just below shoulder blades and a thicker blanket to support the neck and back of head Place a bolster from sacrum to upper - lie down and either let head hang or use a block or blanked to support head. 🧘🏻‍♀️Benefits: Can relieve respiratory ailments Mitigates negative effects of poor posture Stimulates the abdominal organs Benefits the brain Improves posture, spinal flexibility, and mobility 🩵💚💛Chakras: Opens/Stimulates the Throat, Heart & Solar Plexus

    To practice alternate nostril breathing: Sit in a comfortable position with legs crossed Place left hand on left knee Lift right hand up toward nose Exhale completely and then use right thumb to close right nostril Inhale through left nostril and then close left nostril with your fingers Open right nostril and exhale through this side Inhale through right nostril and then close this nostril Open left nostril and exhale through left side This is one cycle Continue for up to 5 minutes Always complete the practice by finishing with an exhale on the left side Benefits: It promotes a feeling of balance It helps quiet the mind It might improve heart and lung health and increase relaxation It can get you in the right head space for a meditation practice It can relax your nervous system to help you fall asleep faster 🙏✨

    Try this quick core strengthening exercise to strengthen the biceps, rhomboids, and trapezius muscles of the back, arms, and wrists. It helps increase the range of motion for backbends. It's a good pose to treat flat feet by increasing foot flexibility. 🔥💪

    Waterfall: One minute of deep breathing and holding this pose will help you to fall asleep faster & stay asleep 1. Lie on your back top of head through sacrum on floor, 2. Slowly lift legs up to the sky 3. Arms down by your side palms facing up 4. Close your eyes and take long inhalations & exhalations through nostrils 5. If legs are shaky separate about hips width distance with a soft bend in knees should help to stabilize (with a regular practice the shaking will subside) 6. A block or bolster can be placed under sacrum for additional support & comfort Plow Pose: Great for stretching and strengthening neck muscles (only try at home if you are familiar with this posture)
