Switched from Michellin Road 5's to Dunlop Roadsmart 4's (IV ). Noticed that the bike is much more flickable. Dunlop stated this in their advertisement and I find that it is very true my bike means with less effort. future videos to come on these tires.
Coffman exhaust DB killer delete on Honda VFR 1200F

after 3 months of having the DB killer in my Coffman exhaust and not getting enough sound from it I decided to remove the BB killer / baffle. It's extremely pleasing to my ears lol! I'm wondering why no one on TH-cam has done this or at least shown this for others trying to find an exhaust. I know all the hoopla about back pressure but the VFR 1200 f has a big box full of emissions control. I'm...

    From experience you might lose a tiny fraction of distance if the module is not perfectly on the side, so the signal is free to travel forward+rearward without the head on the way. BUT that being said, there is no other way, and also while riding we turn and angle our heads so much that previous limit becomes less accurate. Good video sir.

    How are your lights (main and passing) working after a couple of years? Are there things you would have done different? Have you had to replace any of the sealed lamp kits? I'm looking to do the same as you've shown in both your front light videos. Hope all are well. Peace

    Thanks for the tip! Although the shop I bought the helmet from informed me that placing the Sena Intercom should go smoothly oon this helmet, I guess I have to do the same thing. This is only a waistband to hold the helmet liner in place, so nothing is compromised.

    Just fitted the same light to my 2006 Roadliner. Went for 1 night ride and will be return the light to the supplier. The description said 'high beam directional light', meaning a spotlight, so it doesn't light up the dark areas the low beam doesn't cover. The low beam is nice and wide, but it lacks depth, making it dangerous when approaching corners. Also, it's not adjustable, so I did notice that the spotlight is a little off center. I am going to try butting LED's in the OEM headlight set.

I haven't tried the road 6gt yet. So I can't gauge the performance from these tires against those. I'll keep everyone updated and I have a few rides planned later in the year that I will do a video for

  • @MrBulli69
    @MrBulli69 ปีที่แล้ว

    Are you holding the bars too tight? The standard bars hardly vibrate at all. Just come back from 2600 european tour with no issues at all. I took off a bar conversion as it ran too close to the tank and took weight off the front tyre. Those unused areas on your tyre don't go back to virgin so I'd question your 'down to half inch' comment. The popping is unburnt fuel or an air leak, not part of a tune unless you're a weird car nut.

    • @thethingsidoforyou1598
      @thethingsidoforyou1598 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bar ends solved the vibration issue but yes I tend to be heavy handed and grip tight. The sabsteef tune didn't work out as far as the air/fuel popping I'm disain that aspect. I'm going to a traditional exhaust and see it that'll fix it.

    Got them on my superduke GT after two sets of roadsmart 3’s. Not yet gone full attack in mountain passes but I do note more neutrality and an amazing warm-up time. Got average 8000km on a rear with sporty riding, on crude asphalt with a torque laced twin so not complaining at all.

      @@thethingsidoforyou1598 There is a french one on Le Repaire Des Motards channel. They claim they were overheating the front on track when pushing hard, but to me that sounds like a good thing. It means they are so good one can confidently push for corner speeds you're not supposed to and likely never will do anyway on the road; yet the rubber tells you it can handle it
