Great job of merging the clips together! I've seen Blue Rodeo live several times over the years, this venue and show was the best of the rest!

That's a great jig and it does a fine job of duplicating a shape. I wonder if a round nosed bit would be best once you're getting close to finishing. Just a thought.

Do you think this device can be used to build a pool cue? A pool cue shaft has a diameter of two centimeters on one side and one centimeter at the end. The length of a short is almost 70 centimeters. The problem is that the wood is thin and so may deflect under a lateral load.

I wonder if using a four flute end mill cutter would work better than the standard router bit. Dunno

I like your design. I've seen some idiots out there jam their routers into uneven stock and exponentially increase the shear-off factor of their bit. You did it nice and slow and I was glad to see you rounded the piece first before jumping into it. Cheers, and glad d it worked out for you

Good luck! I did the same thing with my 1968 MGB. It took two years! I wish I had that rotisory, sweet! I curently have a 1968, 1978, 1979 & 1980 MGB. The 68, is done, new and complete. I just painted the the 1979 Limited Edition back to black. Assembly and instaltion of completelt striped body. New engine and OD unit. This should take me a year. The I will move to next project.
