My channel shares my travel experiences while motorcycling around Europe and North Africa so far, which I absolutely have loved....hopefully you will too and maybe gather a few ideas of your own, to get on a bike and ride there.

Spain & Portugal 2024 Ep 1 - Ireland/Scotland/England to Spain - Cangas De Onis in the Picos
We all travelled from our respective homes and got our ferries to Spain
Santander (for Geoff & Percy) and Rosslare to Bilbao for Raymond & myself), so had arranged to meet in Panes, in the Picos De Europa to start our tour for 14 nights, before heading to Cangas De Onis, Santiago De Compostela, Fisterre ( Most westerly point in Spain - end of the Camino for some), then travelling South, to visit Porto, Douro Valley, Chaves and start a bit of the N2 central road in Portugal, the ride the mountain regions in Portugal, especially the Serra De Estrela and surrounding areas, like Mantegais, Covilha, etc.
Fantastic trip, in all weathers, that allowed Geoff & myself to tour together after 40 years ( to Italy with our then girlfriends, now wives & Thanks for holding the fort while we were away ladies !!) and catching up once again with Percy who I had met in Edinburgh 40 years ago too. Raymond and I had toured Romania, Morocco together, so had ridden many miles over the last few years to epic places.....This was a repeat as we saw some epic places/roads/people etc too. Hi. Enjoying the videos. Going to morocco next week. Cant find a gps that shows that track to dades gorge. What did you use as clear at the start you had a map with a route. Thanks for your help
Hi. Glad you are enjoying the videos. You are in for a fantastic time !! I had a map that I’d marked on places I wanted to visit after seeing them on you tube etc, but used my Tom Tom Rider to put in the locations and followed it… mind you, I had it set to avoid routes that were unpaved so I guess it took me via that route from Agoudal when I put Boulmane Dades as the destination as there is no alternative other than back down the same route to Tinghir as the starting destination for the Dades Gorge. . I be never used the gpx files and just wanted the option to head alternative routes that looked interesting while on the move. When I reached the next place, I just typed in the next one on the map. You captured wonderful landscapes, the color of the desert is gorgeous, the cities are gorgeous, people seem to stand still, time seems to be something meaningless, I liked that waiter who kept pouring from glass to kettle and vice versa, this means not caring about the passage of time. They are not like us Europeans on the run all the time.
Wonderful. Can’t wait for June and my spin around Morocco. 😊

So you didnt have the off road route
@@irideforlife No. I used the Michelin Map ( motorist and tourist map version) for Morocco and used a highlighter to mark the places of interest, a rough route/direction and then did as stated above.
Oh yes @@irideforlife , I did approx. 20% of my route "off road". E.g. from Imilchil to Gorge Dades ...
