Pretty good man !
Sounds good but thanks for taking me back to around 1976.When I saw z z top niagara falls new york They had 9 tractor-trailers for all their equipment. They also had a full size live bull On stage.
What I love about doing covers from the ‘70’s; they unlock memories like that one we never wanna forget.
Now a fan Tony really impressed.
Thanks, Phillip. Appreciate the encouragement. Gonna go looking for your stuff now.
Nice one gentlemen encore. Where do boys come from.?
Thank you, sir. This band is based in Long Beach, CA. Been at it for over a year but haven’t booked a gig yet.
Excellent voice and playing. Encore. I think I’ll also have a go at this as I love Johnny and Edgar.
Thanks, Phil. In that case you might like this one (one of my favorites of all mine): th-cam.com/video/bWcU_vSEvzQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tA_lgXlDWogdFo2a
so...she made you go out to the garage to make your video, eh?
lol. Actually, I’m off leash 2-3 nights a week now that I have a little band that gets gigs. Check out Rumrunners Band on Instagram
My favorite clip so far: instagram.com/reel/DBf1OnpxMhO/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Amazing! Your playing and voice together is so good.
Thanks, Alex. Takin it to open mics ended me up in a little band called the Rumrunners. Digging life.
Could you find tabs for this one? Seems to be absent
All I can say is I recorded this with open D tuning. I mostly just copy playing by ear. The only tabs I know from are blotter and gel 😊
Wow that’s a lot of energy bro, great cover. Can you do Sombody ?
Somebody. Just gave it a listen l. Good call on a deep cut with a fun vocal/guitar break. Gotta carry the torch for Steven. Was sorry to hear of his vocal troubles.
@@tonynottonson1978 let me know when you release your version as I’m looking forward to hearing it.
Fuck mainstream
It's awesome
Você é ótimo!
i say this as a guy mid 30s who has played music at a semi pro lvl since i was 15.. your singin is waaaay better than your guitar and by so much for your guitar to catch up so it dosnt sound off to the trained ear you and your band could really use you only singin and getting a shredder of a guitarist and then when you wanna do something like this video you play rythme guitar and he backs you up both acoustic.. that is if you wanna go to the next lvl.. otherwise like i said your singin voice and range is really nice keep it up! :) peace & love
Thanks. I’m never gonna step down shredding blues guitar for people who like that stuff however trained. If you’re ever near Long Beach, CA come find us (Rumrunners) and bring your axe. I challenge you to a blues duel at one of our gigs. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. With respect. Tony N.
That is raw!!! Awesome!!!!
Brilliant my man. I’ve only ever seen one other video where someone sings over the notes.
Thanks Steven. You might like what I did on Keep Playin That Rock and Roll too.
Awesome
From Nepal i felt really good listening to this cover nice one sir
I like it!❤
😊Two moments stand out for me. Before you started and after the last note.
Fun
great!
Holy shit.....great rendition!!!!
GREAT..........
Word!
Great cover of a song by my favorite band, the most influential 60's rock artist not in the Rock Hall of Fame.
Hearing of Jon's recent passing, to honor him and TPT, I intend to have my band cover this one sooner than later.
Great playing while singing a barrage of lyrics, which I think might be about Judy Garland whom Phil May went on a double date with.
Wow. Thanks for the background. Growing up mostly in Hollywood, it makes me think of several women I knew back in the day.
Wow - that was great! Cant believe you worked up that much energy all alone on an acoustic in the basement while not only hitting all the right notes vocally but also playing all the fills/leads etc. Congrats!
Oh sorry - not the basement - the garage.
This is what this shits about! ❤️❤️❤️👌
100%
NIce Man !!!
Noice 👍
you sound great on both parts just wish I could hear the voice more, sounded really good
you don't sound like a bad singer my g buh I jus can't hear it over the guitar
Thanks for taking the time to let me know.. I agree about the sound. I’ve re-done it before, will again, more properly.
This is amazing
Featuring Ishmael walking back and forth on camera moving chairs
Love it !
WOW !!!!!!!!👍
Hey Tony, this is Joe. I’m impressed. That’s really good. I didn’t know you were so talented. Can you play anything from AC/DC.
I’ll take that as a request and record You Shook Me, which I can sing (barely) and have performed before. But it’s gotta be toward the end of the show, obviously.
Smokin!
Thank you my brother.
I like this!!!!!
Wow. so nice!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice man. Diggin the Mick nuances!
Nice. Love the groove and enthusiasm.
