I like how your intake is setup. That's much cleaner than mine. I ran the intercooler over the top like a Subaru. I might change mine to a setup similar to yours. Mines a 2.5L. Good Idea with the exhaust too. Nice setup. Looks fun.

You're gonna cook your fuse box and cook the paint off your hood. Currently battling both problems in a similar setup.

Well I'm having trouble evacuating heat. Currently the turbo itself average temp with a hand held thermometer is around 519 degrees. I can only think it gets much hotter rolling down the interstate.@@boostcrutv
@@BWalker-yg9en cars aren’t meant to idle in one place driving it gets proper cooling but yes
@@dracoseason3784 it's a Jeep. It's gonna have to idle in one place a lot. I installed some louvered vents and wrapped my exhaust which seems to help out. But ultimately it's a Jeep for doing Jeep things. Slow crawling and idling is what it's gotta do sometimes.

I’m 24 years old and have owned my TJ since I’m 15, I’ve always wanted to turbo it but never got around to it since I’ve been building my e36.. after seeing this I think it’s time to turbo my 4.0 🙂 would love an update video on this

I agree, I left my k5 basically as it was from sitting over 27 years, I like the "in progress" look, plus, if i fixed the body up, id just end up destroying it in the mud/woods anyway. It's the running gear that matters.
