Lake Shasta Caverns: A Fascinating Journey Through Time and Nature
You must live in Shasta County since you talk about it so much.
Yes I do!
Great video! Always wondered about him.
They have great holiday meals and are a good price. I like the Sizzler in Yuba City, CA. It's right off the 99 highway going towards Chico, CA.
Maiden name is Jo Ann Townsend. My family lived across the street on Harvard and we owned the malt shop and worked in from 1958 to 60. The state took it to build jr. college building. Changed the street name. Lived there from 1944 to 1960. Many happy memories.
I see the Yuba City Mascots, the police will arrest anyone who tries to catch their dinner, this has happened to an individual.😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very cool!
Upland CA Foothill
Great tour!
Thank you!
Great video TH-cam should suggest this one for all baseball fans.
Thank you, I agree! 😂
Thank you!
You should do more baseball players and there histories like this. This was enjoyable.
Thank you
I've done work in Colma. I swear that place is haunted. The fog wouldn't roll out until 2:30pm in the afternoon on some days and would start rolling back in at 3:30pm.
I am sure it is. 😁
This is well done!
Thank you
@@CaliforniaUnearthed you’re welcome!

Next time im in Yuba City I will have to stop in.Thanks !
Great video, and I enjoyed even more all the local related facts about Risberg which makes this video quite different from mine!
Thank you
Excellent job, Robert!! I enjoyed this video. Being from a baseball family and growing up around the ball parks, It was neat hearing about the history of Risberg. I love his perseverance. Shows his deep rooted love for playing ball.
Great video.
Cool
And there's still a Shakey's in Oroville not too far from there 😃
There is one in Williams as well.
Let all of the dead plants and no customers guide you.
There were a few people there, but it was also about 2 pm when we went.
Chickens have over run this part of town.
Next time you go you need to get a yummy strawberry milkshake from them!
Went last night and had a butterscotch milkshake.
@@CaliforniaUnearthed very cool!

I wonder when the parents put the trunk in the wall? May died in September 1879. It was not put into the wall after May's death due to the seance letters that was packed inside. Also, there was a token of President Garfield in the trunk, who won the Presidency in 1880 and was assassinated in September 1881. So it could have been put in the wall after Garfield's assassination either in late 1881 or sometime in 1882. May and Garfield both died in the month of September. Garfield died on September 19th and May on September 21st, two years and two days apart. That may have had an impact on May's parents for them to put the Garfield token in the trunk. This was the 2nd assassination of a U.S. President since Abraham Lincoln 16 years prior. If that trunk was never put in that wall, or that part of the house never renovated, May Woolsey and her life would have never been known, and her grave would be just another grave marker in the Sacramento City cemetery that people would walk by and never even notice or who she was in life.
As a native Californian, I always enjoy learning more and interesting history. Also, boy do I want a hamburger NOW!!! Thanks.
I also enjoy your videos, but, please no vertical videos.
Lol ya I only did that because it was a short video. I am more comfortable recording landscape.
Another great Vlog. All that's missing are the Burma Shave that used to dot the California roadsids Very nice scenes. Thank you
Thank you
Love your vlog. Grand places to view.
Hello Yuba city !! A shout out from Farmington New Mexico. The last time I ate at this restaurant was in late 2018. Myself and my son's family enjoyed dinner before we all left for Farmington. Kudos Yuba city ❤
