Can I use this in Malaysia or Thailand etc I am Singaporean 👍🏻

I had to activate data roaming ON THE ESIM, in case anyone else has the same problem.

eSim is an ill-thought and dumb product for any country not within 6 hours of Singapore time zone and this is why: 1. This esim is based on DATE and not number of hours. Which means if you activate it in the evening, you get it till midnight which is irritating but fine. 2. Incredibly, the date the esim is based on is the Singapore timezone. So after purchasing this and activating it (us morning/sg evening), I had the wonderful experience of having wifi for 2 hours before losing all access by noon. Again, this esim is for the US market and someone decided that we should base the date on SG timing. 3. After scambling to find wifi after losing it and contacting the help desk, I’m passed around and given platitudes like we appreciate your patience and we are investigating this. After 10 hours of back and forth, I’m told that the issue is the fact that the product is working as intended and I’m the issue because I activated it in the evening (Singapore timezone). So it’s a user problem not product problem. 4. When I point out, that at no point in the instruction email or the FAQ page or the product page actually mentioned this (I checked). I’m told this is a standard esim product. So basically why you so dumb, everyone knows this. 5. When I asked for a refund because you sold me a product with false advertising, I’m told oh you activated it so we can’t refund it. So, you touched it, you buy it. 6. To really cap it off, I’m informed that my feedback is appreciated and I’m encouraged to contact them in the future for further clarification prior to making a purchase. So next time I spend any money with Changi, I should contact them and ask them to explain how the product works and I can’t expect it to work out how it logically should. To anyone who purchases this esim, note that this is DATE based and on SINGAPORE time zone. If you face any difficulties, expect a turnaround time of 10 hours and empty platitudes. Changi, here’s my suggestion: next time you launch a product, actually use the product like once, just once before you sell it. You don’t even have to fly to US, just imagine being in a timezone outside of Singapore and do a user journey so you can create something that actually works instead of pissing people off.

I bought the 3GB card from Changi last week, followed instructions exactly, and the card doesn’t work. Very disappointed. Recommend you guys check this product again and make sure it actually still works.
