I'm sad they changed the atmosphere of Cytus 2. I liked how the first game had a different look than other rhythm games.

Because with tap-drags, charts are much easier to read compared to c1. Most c1 songs are hard because they are freaking hard to read.

most people are saying cytus 2 looks harder, but to me it looks much easier. granted, i haven't actually played the cy2 version, but as someone who doesn't have any trouble with the flick notes, it seems easier since it doesn't have the slider/tap combos like the original. i was actually pretty disappointed to see they didn't keep these in cy2, since they're challenging but fun. anyway, this edit is great, nice job!
...I think the slide tap combo in the original Cytus were changed to TapSlide notes in Cytus 2 instead. Yknow, the slide notes that has color blue/green instead of pink/purple. These one makes it so that you have to tap it before slide, just like that combo. Since the premise of slide tap combo is just to tap before slide anyway, I can see why they replace it. Although it really looks easier even though the tap pattern is the same is entirely because the aesthetic. The Cytus 1 ver. Looks big and messy, while the Cytus 2 ver. It become the same note making it looks clear.
@@lennstarlining4189 i see what you're saying here, and i'm glad they did that to add some more challenge to the new chart, but it still doesn't have the tap notes at the _end_ of the slide, which i would argue are the real difficult (and fun) part about the original

Holy Knight was made by the same artist, and KIVA used both Holy Knight and this song along with Qualia to make Genesys

Should have add the comparation with EASY chart from Cytus 1. So it will be C1 EASY and HARD vs C2 HARD and CHAOS
I love how the Level 9 songs in Cytus aren't that much harder in Cytus 2, but the lower leveled charts in the original are insanely harder in Cytus 2
tbh the tape mechanics were hella clunky in cytus 1. cytus 2 tap mechanics and how they register is much more smoother ngl
