DREAM THEATER - Lines In The Sand - Guitar Solo
มุมมอง 159K15 ปีที่แล้ว
DREAM THEATER. Lines In The Sand. DVD - Chaos In Motion. John Petrucci guitar solo.
Damn God..... I really LOVE you man....this solo makes me cry everytime!!❤❤❤
JP is better than Knopfler.
1:10 is the face. All guitarists know it and have felt it.
Godtrucci ❤ 🔥
Looking at john petrucci play this solo makes me happy .. ahhh, one of the simplest joys in life 💜
this is like something gilmour would have written
Gilmour... beautiful
for me... Wild Frontier is the best album made by GM.
Nobody could be able copy his personal style. R.I.P. Gary Moore. A true guitar hero.
If you look on the back of the album in the bottom left hand corner written in red it says 'For Phillip'. And yes I agree, his best album, there's not a bad song on there.
@@stevekendrick2008 That's because it was dedicated to Phil and being the title Wild Frontier.
@@greywebs1944 Yes, I kind of knew that. I only posted that for people who didn't know.
Grande Petrucci!!!!!
Most unrelated song for dream theater 😪
This is one of my fav solos of all time
This solo with the soul soaring chord progression will stay with me like comfortably numb.
The real reason Petrucci has those fake amps there is to avoid getting Portnoy's spits lol
David Gilmores comfortably numb solo and this one are the greatest of all.time for my opinion...
He was one of a kind!!! An incredibly gifted guitarist and singer.
When someone is asking me what my favorite guitar solo is, i show them this
Old but gold
This is a better live version the others elsewhere sound shit R.I.P Miss You Loads So Very Underated Gary Moore Was The Greatest He Kicked Ass 🎸🥀
I was there, just a couple of meters from Gary. In Stockholm, April 1987. One of the very best concerts I've ever attended. Unforgetable and magic.
The best ever one solo.
Underrated!!! U.N.D.E.R.R.A.T.E.D! So massively overlooked...
It's very beautiful guitar solo
What he does at 0:58... if you play guitar, you know that is some incredible technique on display there
That's True 🙌
Sustain level almost reached infinity.
Amazing intro melody guitar...
Y dicen que los solos carecen de "pasión". Idiotas...
1:39..The time skip unlike the recorded version❤
The greatest of all time
at 0:50 he goes to a whole other level.
Solo do caralho
See? Just technique, no soul. lol.
1:38 is where i get them feels.. i cry everytime i listen to this solo
I don't listen to DT. Haven't ever really listened to petrucci much in my life of satch, Vai, malmsteen, halen etc etc..... but this..... this solo here, I watch so damn often. Heck, I don't even like the song it comes from much. But It truly is one of the greatest solos of ALL TIME.
Some of other great petrucci's solos : the best of times, hollow years (live in budokan), ministry of lost souls, razor's edge, breaking all illusions, and many more.. give them a try
The spirit carries on, as well
sultans ofswing we have very similar taste bro. The fact that you mentioned the best of times first and the ministry of lost souls was there too.
Same, I like the intro of the song, but as soon as Labrie comes in I skip to the solo
@@progdrummer-nenad What a coincidence! I don't care about yours either!
I miss Mike Portnoy, DT isn't the same without him. :(
wow man those Swedish u r guys were so dam lucky to see these greatest guitarist ever
nice solo... and shirt
that has to be one of the best solos ever
The beginning kindo sounds like frampton feel like we do
for some reason i feel like its buckethead playing, idk why.. Andy James "the wind that shakes the heart" Now that'[s a good one.. I been playing for 13 years self taught.. everyone has a certain difference in each song.. That one is awesome lol
God
I want that "Don't tread on me" t shirt JP is wearing.
Could someone tell me how does he do the thing at 0:58? I mean the high F# seems to continue throughout the other notes even though he doesn't look like he's sustaining it
+Nightscorpion13 He plays it more than once
+IbanezjemJSX Thank you! :)
Dave Grohl replace John Petrucci?
No..is Jesus christ
ma cosa porco dio centrava il fischione alla fine...mah
+ziopaolo Che schifo, eh?
+Alpha Omega assolutamente no
the floyd is strong in this one, my true idol
Alex Lifeson very strong as well. However, Alex is one of John's idols, so I'm not surprised. But yes, Floyd as well.
It's no secret that most bands with a wall of amps are fake. But I found James' secret hidding place was cool.
FOLKS! This is how a guitar should be played. Forming tones. Not that crap like Steve Vai you name it shreds!
Tourette Syndrome? LOL!
I hope in the 3 years since you commented you decided to listen to more than one Steve Vai song.
Koroar yep. Petrucci is my favorite but Steve vai is awesome
I checked out the live at Bucharest version and prefer this version because of the sheer passion he puts into it. POWERFUL solo here!
Totally Agree! This one is my favorite hands down... gives me chills every single time I listen to it.
So thats where James goes! I thought he would go off somewhere to tale a dump or something
Yeah he shits like 20 times a show
@@clevelandbrown5709 Because of constant diarrhea, duh!
Just so everyone knows, thats Mr John Petrucci playing guitar... -Labrie
