The Kinta Valley Symphonic Society (KVSS) is an Ipoh-based non-profit organization made for the community by the community, providing opportunities for music lovers to get together and share their passion for music.

Since its inception in 2010, the Kinta Valley Symphonic Society has put up annual concerts, charity concerts and mall performances. Smaller ensembles have performed at outreach concerts, orphanages, senior homes, schools and centers for the disabled.

KVSS missions are:

1. To provide an opportunity for life-long musical expression and enjoyment, promoting artistic enrichment in Kinta Valley and preserving the rich repertoire of symphonic band music.

2. To inspire individuals to continue their musical endeavors through the encouraging and intimate atmosphere of joint music-making.

3. To provide quality and inspiring musical experiences for its member while educating and entertaining the Ipoh community and beyond.
