I do some work around Nimitz Cove at Barber's Point. Since a lot of people don't know about the beach there, I thought I'd share a video I made of the area. During the week, hardly anyone goes there.

After reading about the opening of a new beach access to Maunalua Bay in Portlock in Hawaii Kai, I decided to check it out. The entrance is not readily apparent, but I saw 3 surfer girls in the area enter a pathway with their surfboards and knew that that was the location of the new beach access. I made a small video of my trip.

I wanted the viewers to see how different Waikiki was on 9-24-20 versus on 4-3-21.

I went to the open house the Honolulu Rail Transit had at Leeward Community College on February 8, 2020. I visited the Greek Marina Restaurant at the Koko Marina Shopping Center in Hawaii Kai this past Saturday. The food was healthy, but didn’t carry the heavy seasoning of some asian dishes. Ala Moana Centerstage A group from Brisbane, Australia gave an exhibition of a Haka and examples of Maori songs. They were a Maori group that was set up in Brisbane to preserve the Maori culture of transplanted New Zealanders. They had spent 10 days in Hawaii and had been hosted by families here. They were gratified at the hospitality that had been shown to them in Hawaii.
