Still not working for me I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting controller via Bluetooth (not using remote play app) because I can turn it off and back on again using the power button, connects fine but disconnects after a while and I can't reconnect it (tried 3 cables) if ANYONE can help I'd be grateful

Get remote play app from the appstore and connect to the playstation, go to settings and then bluetooth then pair the controller from there

Mines doing this now. It's because the controller is trynna connect with Bluetooth (which the PS4 uses) but ya can't select it under Bluetooth devices if the controller ain't working in the first fuckin place

Problem Solved: Go get an original PS4 USB cable. I got a NPLAY USB-A to Micro USB 3.0 that is 3Meters long and it now works perfectly. Had exact same problem and tried a bunch of cables none of them worked. There is no problem with the PS or the Dualshock. GET AN ORIGINAL CABLE IF U CAN. MUST BE USB 3.0 CABLE OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT WORK.

if ur ps4 is connected to a wifi use the remote play app and remove the controller from connected devices and redo the sync

You have to open up your PlayStation and go to settings and Bluetooth devices than use the usb cord otherwise it doesn’t work. This worked for me, hoped this was useful.
