This gun isn't made for people like that. That's why there are guns like the equalizer or the ez from smith and wesson. To say a full size gun 9mm at that is snappy, so much more than any other full size 9mm, is irrational. It is my point that the walther pdp isn't any snappier than a glock 17, or another full size nine, if you disagree than it is a mechanics issue with the shooter not the gun.
My full size PDP Pro is very light recoil into the hand. However it has more muzzle flip than my G17, P10F or HKVP9 (which is very soft shooting). It’s completely manageable just not as good as other full sized pistols I have or have fired. I’ve ordered a new recoil spring assembly to see how that works.
Muzzle rise in a nine millimeter isn't much of any no mater what gun or size you may refer to. Regardless of your opinion it isn't a higher caliber like magnum cartridges or 10mm. If you are having issue with Muzzle rise in any nine. Instead of changing the gun or parts. Try changing your mechanics of recoil control. As well as work on finger and wrist strength.

A nice wide sweat guard, that covers the entire decocked hammer, would be nice. I'm not worried about safety. It would take a ton of force to push the hammer past the half cocked position. That's gonna require all that you have.If things get that bad, the first thing you need in that bag is a bible. I suggest you add that in-and-in your next video. Make it a priority to tell people that because it's going to be the best help you're going to get.
@@Barrelsmoke wow now calm down don't get all emotional. This is many years worth of survival living and prep. I didn't get this all at once. I have lived that life out in the wilderness alone. I know what I like and that's being an outdoors person. If you don't like it so be it. I'm still going to do me.
@@Barrelsmoke not waiting for anything. I grew up living a philosophy, be prepared, instead of getting caught with my pants down. I tell people all the time better to be safe than sorry. This isn't just my go bag. This is my family's go bag. I'm more prepared than I should ever need to be is what I like to be.
@@Barrelsmoke to say your a firearms person implys that I am the same as you. I live that life, you just can't even imagine it, what would you do if you didn't have selter. Or a grocery store, a bathroom, electricity/electronics. Firearms are a mere tool they're only part of truly living that life.
@heirapparent333 I think you take me wrong,I meant no disrespect. I look at a very large amount of stuff that needs to be mobile and all I can picture Is you looking like clint eastwood in two Mules for sister sarah. I am well prepared at my home. I don't have any a large stash of stuff for the road.I don't ever plan on leaving my house. If we lose electricity, I am prepared if we don't have a grocery store, I am prepared. I just don't plan on ditching everything I have and have worked for and leaving home to survive. My home is my fortress, If that is the case then the problem is bigger than just surviving.
@Barrelsmoke again two bags. It's a go bag to get to family not to bug out aimlessly. So weight isn't too big a deal. But these bags aren't as heavy as you may think they are don't forget the camera adds 5 to 10 pounds always
Bro, what happened to thay fn jeez look like you found it in a fire pit. Also you have a lot of stuff you dont need. Remember oz turn into pounds in a few steps.
@@Ghostpr787 my fn is painted with culture hustles worlds blackest black paint.
@@Ghostpr787 keep in mind as well these are two bags not one. One for me as I'm out scouting or hunting. One for my stationery family.

Lacks a sweat guard to keep the hammer from digging into your stomach.
Never had an issue with it. So I guess you're wrong.
It's my everyday carry would have felt it by now if an issue.
It's a single and double action gun. Therfore hammer down with tge decocker is the safest was to carry it. Unlike a 1911 no safety so the hammer is cooked back. Where it would possibly cause a problem with digging into you. It would be impossible with a double action gun. Have you carried a gun like this in double action mode? Doesn't sound like it. But to each their own
@@heirapparent333 yes. I own a CZ P-09. I'm about to own a 2nd suppressor version. Sweat guards can have both positives and negatives. Kydex sweat guards stick into your belly while sitting. But, with many modern pistols having such aggressive slide serrations, I'd prefer the sweat guard sticking into me. I carry my CZ P-09 decocked. That said, the hammer can still dig into your belly. A nice wide sweat guard, that covers the entire decocked hammer, would be nice. I'm not worried about safety. It would take a ton of force to push the hammer past the half cocked position. And while that's been known to happen on worn hammer fired pistols, it probably wouldn't have enough force to ignite the primer.
@@heirapparent333 I do have a relationship with a custom holster manufacturer, who tends to make far better Kydex holsters than the off-the-shelf holsters. My guy is especially good if you want to run a weapon light. Harry's Holsters are pretty good. They might be better than what my custom holster manufacturer makes. But, Harry's Holsters are pretty expensive
Debating between this 10mm or a real nice 300 blackout
Have both, depends on your uses, and preferences. 300 or 10mm is a far better choice than 45, 9mm, or 556. If you are going short barrel. If going rifle length 300 over 10mm obviously. If hunting 300 over 556 as well. Defense cqb 300 rifle over 556 rifle for sure. Check out my new 300 blackout rifle. Maybe this response will help you.
@@heirapparent333 yea I want this or like a maxim defense 508c sig rattler or honey badger but I love 10mm just don’t know I will use it as a car gun and some home defense
@terrencejones397 if going with car defense 10mm would be better for that use case, being better barrier blind, but 300 blackout would work better for home defense. If you choose 300 use supers for car, then use 10 subs in house, followed by 10 supers in the lower part of mag (10 subs, 10 supers, then 10 subs or a different type of supper if 30 round mags.)
@@heirapparent333 nice yea I’m still deciding the 10mm would definitely be cheaper tho but did you buy yours directly from Cmmg
No guns.com. it is a discontinued model they didn't offer it any longer.
Go for it dude, l love it! And I love this gun. This gun is nearly perfect. I have the 5 inch. It’s not snappy. If you let it do it’s thing, it’s gonna recoil; like all guns, but then go right back to where you had it. You just have to practice and let it do it’s thing. I actually shoot better with this than my EDC, Beretta PX4 which I love. I’m just gonna say, you sound like you know your gun stuff.
Appreciate it.
Why are you want to zero a optic at 100 or 30 is it feet or yards?
I never said I would want to, 30 meters is where I would zero, and do. The manufacturer of the sight says to zero to 100 yards. But that's not where I would be shooting to. Hense why I zeroed at 30 meters.
Could have not bought extra handguns and gotten a real rifle and a proper optic.
Instead of what? Explain your reasoning please
@@heirapparent333 maybe read my sentence again. It’s all explained in a few words with proper reading comprehension.
Which firearms you saying I should not have bought. Is all I thought my reasoning was clear. The reason I don't have a rifle is for many reasons. Not saying I won't ever get an ar10 but only when time permits it. My handgun choice is quite clear and makes sense, so if you say what I should ommit, then I can better tell you why I disagree.
Sell those 🔫’s make a system the G26/23/21 are the only 3 you’ll ever need (G23/21 easiest to convert 9/10mm if needed)and Extar Ep9/45 be PCC done, run 16-11.5 pistol lower but keep the 10.5 .300🤫/10.5 7.62 uppers in pack always leave the lowers oem/spec for top swaps AR shoots it all AK can’t
I already have a system. It's called no glocks or sigs. The only glock I would buy is the 10mm but only because of my banshee mags. I'm happy no relying on an out dated system like glock. Glock needs to update the look and feel of their guns.
I encourage you to use that ration bar for 9 normal days and see what you think after that, provided you dont eat it all on day 2
I've already went over 3 months surving on these ration bars. What's you point? Why you think it is impossible?
You don't need to talk to me like that. Trust I'm not like your average prepper. I've been in real survival situations from a young age. I've lived a crazy life. Been shot at with automatic rifle, had guns pointed at my head, been I'm alot of fights. Dealt with dangerous game in the wild, been bitten by venomous snake, swam with alligators and sharks alike. Survived in hand built selter for months. Lived off of food rations. Climbed steep mountains with rope. Snowboarder back county. Navigated exclusively with compasses. So on and so on.
I recently picked up the midnight bronze MK4 and liked it so much I grabbed the MK3 308 model as well, awesome guns.👍
Nice 👍
This ridiculous for one guy to carry. I hope you have two companions or a wagon, or you’re better off bugging in.
This is two bug out bags I have a family.
The fact that you need to hang stuff off the outside of your pack is evidence that you could use a larger pack.
Incorrect, I choose to hang emergency supplies on the outside, when life matters seconds save lives. Plenty of room inside for my rain jacket, cold weather jacket, and med kit. I choose to display it outside, so if around others, and seconds matter they or I don't have to go searching thru a bag for it. Med kits home and rain gear in Florida should always be on the quick access. On the outside of your pack. My preference doesn't have to be yours.
Holy shit. I was 110% correct. Your shooting grip is absolutely abysmal. You absolutely need to take a beginners handgun course. I am personally embarrassed FOR YOU right now😊
Says the online expert. Go help someone who cares enough to listen. I'm not that guy.
Sightmark on the AR. Tell me you know absolutely nothing about guns, without telling me
Been shooting for decades. Sounds to me you don't know anything about reality. Not everyone is an elitist like most youtubers film themselves out to be. Sorry I'm not your rich idol. I'm happy and content with myself who cares if you don't.
@@heirapparent333 lol totally bro. Shooting for decades says absolutely nothing. I know way too many people who have “50 years of shooting experience” and can’t hit the broadside of a barn
Red dot on an ar is ideal, not a red dot and magnifier, this is an ar15 not an ar10. Putting a scope on a ar15 would mean I don't know anything. Lpvo or acog would be perfered. But this is my first ar, those will come, when I get an ar10, useless on an ar15. A red dot is an red dot, as long as it has a study non polymer housing, and isn't a cheap not inexpensive optic than all is good. Regardless of your opinion, my opinion I'm happy with, you can say what you please I don't have to change to please you I'm good.
@@heirapparent333 yah, except that is a massive piece of shit, and is literally known to fail in the most stupid ways. And that’s if you can get it to even hold a zero.
Held zero for over a year, same battery for over a year, plus mines was bought on display so battery had already been used. I'm not going to say it is an amazing top of the line red dot. But for what I needed it for it has done the job. Look again your opinion is just that an opinion. You can kindly take it somewhere else if it pains you so much to see me using it on my ar pistol. Of which I paid my own money on.
