Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This was such a simple, no-hassle solution! I simply downloaded Cuda 12.3, and after installation, my Davinci Resolve opened immediately! I did see an option to download Cuda 12.6, but I followed these simple instructions in the video and used the Cuda 12.3.

Interesting. My RTX 4090 doesn't stop to crash when i choosen to use CUDA and Neural Engine optimization. I tried several solututions like uninstalling-reinstalling Resolve Studio, Games Drivers, Studio Drivers (With clean installation by using DDU Software) but i got still crash during the render or even on the timeline. Some are just software crashed, others were blue screen and rebooting ... So i choosen to use only Open CL and it was stable. But 5 times slower for the export and somme visuals effect took more time to render. I install the cuda toolkit and it worked but i have noticed that my system disorder was still active when i let the option RTX Upscalling on some 1080p rushs upscalled in 4K. I replaced this option by the classical upscalling system and it works perfectly. Now it looks stable and the exports are really faxt ! 2mn in Cuda vs 15 mn in Open CL !!!!! So thank you to provide this move :)

I want to use the MKLINK symbolic link to minimize the population of C: data from the folders outside of the OneDrive sync folder. (the indiscriminate growth of c: User data can lead to overpopulation of the Window's OS ). Question: Does the symbolic link call the external folders as needed for sync, or does it import them to the user's OneDrive folders?

I tried creating a softlink and on the finder ( Explorer) i see the appropriate folder and its contents in the One Drive drive. however when i go the online ondrive. i only see a link file with the folder name. but not a folder and none of its contents.... ive done this for my google drive and it works fine there

Windows 11 defender is great and you don’t really need anything else. Windows’ security and built in antivirus has got worlds better over the years.

Because Defender just is not enough. You also need something more like Bitdefender or other more robust antivirus.

Thanks. This worked perfectly. I used it to sync 2 additional physical drives on my laptop to OneDrive. I wasn't sure if you could sync an entire drive so I created a parent folder on each drive and moved all the files under that first.

It doesn't sync to the cloud.. it initially creates the folder with your file in the cloud, but if you add another file it will not sync to the cloud.. there will be 2 files on the PC folder but still only the 1 on Onedrive onlline. Can you overcome this?

This is a must do not only after dirty shutdowns but just do it on a routine basis to make sure drives are healthy
