I have a few 6s 5-inch and one 4s 4-inch quad .. yet this Avata 2 is the one that I grab and go fly every time. So, yes - I really like and recommend it, especially for those that (like me) prefer an ore chill and less acrobatic kind of flying. If you are all about power loops, crazy macro and high speed flying, I'd recommend a GepRC Mark 5 or a SpeedyBee 5 on 6s. What do you like to fly the most?

I love how green everything is here and flying around trees and plants, it’s like having a playground to zoom around in a tiny jet 😅 It is actually raining here today (all day) so i am sending some your way 😉 I hope it makes it there!

For the first flight have the camera pointing down (ie flat to the ground). Then after the maiden and as you get to flying faster, you can keep tilting it higher !!

@AZ-FPV My neighbor put a full-sized, professional looking pickleball court right on his property. He has full on tournaments. He's invited me over to try it out but I haven't played yet. Looks like fun though. Enjoy your time out there. Happy flying amigo. 🫡 🍻

That’s exactly what you said - I’d never feel comfortable flying anything else around here. This thing is so light, props are tiny and there’s guards too. Also, i trust DJI setup more than BetaFlight which often has a few bugs but more than that it could be totally my fault messing that up some how. I had DJI drones (along other RC) since the Phantom 1 & Inspire 1 and at least in my experience they have been extremely safe to fly. Also, this Avata 2 prop sound is not as loud or as annoying and most people don’t even notice me flying around (which is my preferred way to do so).

We are staying here for the summer - so i can basically open my window and come out and fly around here. The Avata 2 is not too loud, so i can get away with it and almost no one even notices it 😀

Some people use 5000 mah Lithium Ion batteries and get extreme range and time but I have not with this one. I did try it however with a FlyWoo Explorer and I got 25 min flights!

@@AZ-FPV the flywoo explorer? Wow isn’t that a 4 inch quad and it could carry the. 5000 mah ? Here I am wondering about my tern40 lifting a 3000 mah batt lol . Ok good to know

@@CarlosRodriguez-vg2ob The 5000 would be for the 5-inch or larger ones .. i had this one: “Flywoo Explorer Lionpack 18650 4S 3000mAh 14.8V Li-ion Battery” and honestly that little quad still seemed to struggle under that weight. But it did fly for much longer.

@@CarlosRodriguez-vg2ob - No Acro is really recommended with those heavy packs .. and i think that i have videos of that combo on my channel somewhere.

Totally agree on a DJI setup .. it’s been great for many of us here and we have every DJI goggle set that exists out there.

@@PenseeVertefeuille - if you have never flown any R/C or any FPV before i would actually highly recommend the DJI Avata combo .. comes with everything you ever need including things you might not think about when you first start at RC like, what radio controller or LiPo to get and what charger you may need. Of course, if you have all that and you know RC -AND- you don’t mind spending the time to figure out BetaFlight, then the Mark 5 or Nazgûl or SpeedyBee are all excellent choices (but they are super fast and agile)

@@AZ-FPV Yeah thanks, I prefer spending more time and having more control over the things (and not things controlling me, if that makes sense) ;)

@@PenseeVertefeuille - BetaFlight will get you that .. it’s pretty much infinitely tweak-able to make it completely your own. And the time invested in learning that software can be fun. Also, there’s a ton of learning resources on TH-cam to help you out along the way (J Bardwell for example)

I used an ND filter .. that’s about the only thing I changed for this one. It’s from the Avata 2 with Rocksteady and processed and edited with iMovie. I did not record this in 4k.
