🌊 Transforming Lives with Clean Water: The Story of Molla Para 🌊
Water is life, and access to clean water is essential for a healthy future. In Molla Para village, Vamia Union under Shyamnagar Upazila, clean water was once a distant dream. Women walked long distances to collect water from a pond, often drinking half of it on the way back.
In 2017, CCDB stepped in and built a life-changing Pond Sand Filter (PSF). Today, 150-200 families enjoy clean water, protected from diseases like diarrhea and dysentery. A dedicated women’s PSF management team under PCRCB project of CCDB, ensures its maintenance, making this a sustainable community effort.
