Pleased with three consistent timed runs at Harewood. Chipped away from a 70.32, past a 70.14 to finish with 69.90. Posted all three runs back to back. Optimum time from the sectors was 69.44, so there's a target for the next meeting. Run 1 (70.32) 0:00 Run 2 (70.14) 1:12 Run 3 (69.90) 2:26

My fastest run of Round 2 was (rather frustratingly) in Practice Run 1. Tried a new line around Quarry, the final corner and styled it out fairly well.

All runs, two practice, three timed, back-to-back for comparison. Quite disappointed that after the second practice run, I got slower and slower, but reproducing that run as a timed run wouldn't have affected my position on the day.

Practice run 2 turned out to be the fastest of the day, despite clipping a floppy and having two grass excursions. Got slower and slower after that, frustratingly!

Best run of the day - still obvious where I can gain time - hope the Academy will help with that!

First outing in competition for 5 years for me, first outing for the car, first time ever on a Hillclimb - where better than Harewood. Can already see plenty of time waiting for me, in the Esses and final corners particularly. Car is pretty much bog standard Peugeot 306 GTi6, with a few light modifications, running in Class 1B. Best time of the day for me, this run, was 75.47s
