Looks like you have a very specific taste in music, and by specific i mean really specific. Mostly hype/rock openings. Personally i love all the gintama music. Good reaction tho, atleast you weren't faking it or anything like many do.

The first and second episode was made as a celebration for the manga getting an anime adaptation. So it's meant for people who read tge manga. It's just filler

Just fyi because it can be confusing. Eps 1 & 2 are fillers, they made it as a celebration for the manga reader that their manga finally getting animated. It's ok to watch it, but for non manga reader must be confusing. Chapter 1 of the manga started on eps 3. Hope you enjoy your gintama journey!

Doing openings and endings together seems insane. Like, human concentration can't last that long. Opening 9 is my favourite and i don't have ranking after that. But i consider OP1, OP5, OP9, OP11, OP13, OP15, OP18 and OP21 among legendary openings. Opening 4 is also good but it reminds me to much of Naruto OP9 so i can't consider it legendary. Naruto OP9 by same band is way to ingrained in my head. Opening 6 is only notable for scene where Otae hits Kondo with butt. 18:15 I don't recognize that. Is that some movie opening? All long shounen shows also have movies. But that is just a guess. I definitely know the voice. Its by band DOES. 20:17 I do not recognize. 22:00 Nope, don't know it. 23:56 Still no. 25:42 Finally OP9 after 4 songs i didn't know. 34:40 Again song that isn't known to me. And its muted so i guess i don't need to know it. Sounds like idol special or spinoff by your reaction. OP17 i didn't put among legendary Gintama openings because i love OP5 more. And you should recognize sound by DOES because that is their 3rd song on your list. OP18 i don't like but there is no world where i could forget chorus. From endings i just know about ED17. Start of ending 1 reminded me of Lazarus by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds. I googled it and Gintama ending came first. Oh, English for ending 2. And after that OP12, some unknown song and then OP13. 1:44:44 ED24 is by Aqua Timez. Cool I did hear chorus of ED25 before in compilations. Cool that later endings hold more attention. 1:54:49 Haikyuu!! OP4, OP5, OP6 and Dr. Stone OP1 should be most known. Most recently they did opening for new season of Black Butler but i think it didn't do well. Oh, you looked it up. If we mention Haikyuu!! then Spyair did OP1 and OP3 so even more connection between it and Gintama.

Yo I agree clannad og is better. I never was able to get past a few eps of after story it just wasn’t the same for me. Also I’m sorry to say one piece is one of maybe less than a dozen series I dropped cause I didn’t grow up with it like a lot of people did. I’m probably gonna watch the remake if the pacing is fixed.

Which show you prefer from this year? is a question and so i get the logic that the original video is a quiz. But more in questionnaire type format. 1999 One Piece I am sad to erase Digimon from history but nobody should think that One Piece is possible to erase. 2000 Yu-Gi-Oh Also watched Inuyasha and Love Hina, but i feel Hajime no Ippo is still better choice for 2nd place. 2001 Hikaru no Go The only show of those i have finished and it made me play Go online for 2 weeks. Watched some episodes of Bayblade, Prince of Tennis, Shaman King and Hellsing Ultimate version of Hellsing. 2002 Naruto I am sure that Azumanga Daioh inspired making of Nichijou and Danshi Koukosei no Nichijou so i am sad it has to be erased. Danshi Koukosei no Nichijou was my top comedy show for a long time, don't know how i am feeling about it now. 8:32 Laughed at usage of The X-Files theme 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist I know names of all others because of compilation videos but didn't watch any of them, watched original FMA. 2004 Monster I never watched Monster but it has such cult status that i think more would be lost than by erasing mainstream show like Bleach. Only watched Bleach and Samurai Champloo from the list. 2005 Mushishi The only show i have watched. I know others from compilation videos except Paradise Kiss. 2006 Code Geass I never watched it but its still my choice. Watched few episodes of Higurashi, a lot of Gintama episodes and never finished Death Note. From compilation videos also very familiar with some Ouran and Nana scenes. 2007 Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Finished Gurren Lagann and Clannad (both seasons). Know about every show from compilation videos. 18:50 For Clannad they put scene from season 2 which wasn't released in same year. I don't think that is fair. 2008 Soul Eater Finished Soul Eater. Watched To Love-Ru (toraburu - trouble) until Darkness 2nd season and Index until 3rd season. I heard good things about Natsume 2009 Fairy Tail Fairy Tail was my number 3 of all time when i made my only list in 2015. It was my personal shounen show. Even though i dropped 2014 continuation in 5 episodes. Finished K-ON! and never finished Brotherhood. 2010 Highschool Of The Dead Finished HOTD (shame there will never be 2nd season, RIP creator), Bakuman, Angel Beats and Kaichou Wa Maid-sama. Watched first 3 episodes of Durarara!!. This is when i started watching seasonal shows online. 2011 Hunter x Hunter (2011) In that list where Fairy Tail was number 3 Hunter x Hunter was number 8. Now it changed and Hunter x Hunter (2011) is my favourite anime show of all time. Watched Fate/Zero and Steins;Gate. I was online but i just refused to watch many shows in 2011 i guess. 2012 Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Jojo's is to iconic to be erased and i only watched it until episode 30 of part 4. Finished Hyouka and watched SAO until episode 14 of Alicization. 30:16 I agree that all sport shows have the same story. But journey through that story can be very hype. I am sport anime lover. 2013 Shingeki No Kyoujin Attack On Titan can't be erased. I dropped it in season 2 and later watched reactions until end of season 2, but still can't imagine anime community without it. Finished Kyoukai No Kanata and Kill La Kill. Watched Date A Live until some episode in season 3. Watched Oregairu until episode 4 of season 2. And i'm pretty sure i finished first season of Devil Is A Part-timer but can't remember anything past episode 6. October 2013 is also when i caught up with One Piece and Naruto so i had much more time for seasonal shows. 2014 Haikyuu!! Watched every show. Only dropped Tokyo Ghoul in RootA as any normal person should. 2015 One Punch Man Only show i didn't watch is Charlotte but i did see reaction to first 4 episodes. Also didn't watch 4th season of Overlord and dropped Food Wars at episode 8 of 4th season. 2016 A Silent Voice A Silent Voice is one of rare animated movies i watched. And the only one that isn't part of some existing TV show. So Your Name is only show i didn't see. Dropped Boku No Hero Academia at episode 14 of season 5. Didn't watch Konosuba season 3, movie and explosion spinoff. Didn't watch Mob Psycho 100 season 3. Currently watching Re:Zero season 2 with CawCaw. 2017 Made In Abyss Made In Abyss is a masterpiece show that i don't enjoy watching but its quality is top. Finished Made In Abyss and Sangatsu No Lion. Dropped Black Clover at episode 65 and watched edited reaction until episode 115. Didn't watch COTE season 2. Didn't watch Houseki No Kuni and Dragon Maid. 2018 Tensura I watched a lot of shows in 2018. I counted 34 from my notes but it seems i decided to skip on ones that were chosen here. Did i became hipster at that point? Don't know. But the only one i've seen is Tensura and even here i do not watch season 3. Violet Evergarden has my 2nd favourite opening of the year at least (after Kokkoku). 2019(best anime year of all time in my opinion) Vinland Saga Only finished Vinland Saga but it was still hard choice with Dr. Stone because i love watching reactions to both shows. Currently i'm watching 3rd season of Dr. Stone with Morthadon. Watched only first season of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War. Dropped Shield Hero at episode 2 of 2nd season and dropped Demon Slayer after episode 3 of 2nd season (didn't watch movie version). Watched few episodes of 2001 version of Fruits Basket. 2020 Jujutsu Kaisen I know 2020 was Co-v1d year but only show i watched from this selection is Tower Of God. Again i counted 34 shows i watched in 2020. I chose Jujutsu because of community impact. 2021 Mushoku Tensei Only watched Mushoku Tensei 1st season and Ousama Ranking 1st season. 2022 Spy x Family Finished Spy x Family. Watched edited reaction of Dress-Up Darling with G.O.T. Games. I must be anime hipster but also from Spring season 2022 i have stopped consuming anime like previously. From then if i pick up 5 seasonal shows its a lot. 2023 Sousou No Frieren I only watched 5 episodes of Tengoku Daimakyo from chosen selection. But Frieren being number 1 show on My Anime List can't be undeserved. I believe anime community. Still didn't watch it as i lose interest to watch anime, but gain interest to watch reactions. Also my notes stop with Winter season 2023. 2024 Too Many Losing Heroines The only shows i finished this year were Solo Leveling and second half of Shangri-La Frontier. Last episode of anime i watched was Wind Breaker episode 3. That was 5 months ago. I am still consuming anime content through reactions and compilation videos. I chose Losing Heroines because it seems like absolute passion project.

Didn't watch this show. I agree with you. Didn't like first opening (i did listen to it in different tab), but it is circus clown music which makes it unique among openings. I know season 2 opening from seasonal compilation videos. 4:44 You know it from that too! Nice. Ending 1 is the most iconic thing from this show. Unfortunately i can't listen to episode 8 ending. Yes, season 2 ending exists. Didn't leave an impact. And its made by Claris, a band that is famous in anime community.

That is one of the most energetic Aimer songs, but i just don't like it. 8:14 KANA-BOON: Naruto Shippuden OP16, Zom 100 OP- you got to know those 2 openings. My Hero Academia OP7 and Iron-Blooded Orphans opening by them are also moderately known. I also know Karakuri Circus OP2 by them and one of the most underrated opening in my opinion Subete ga F ni Naru opening. OP1 > OP4 > OP2 > OP3 11:00 That Yabe was so cute. ED1 is so great. In my opinion on equal standing as OP1. Your opinion is of course not the same. ED2 i didn't feel at all. ED3 and ED4 have some video game references but don't care for songs. 18:31 I believe Pelican Fanclub did Dr. Stone OP2. ED1 >>>>>> ED4 > ED3 > ED2

One of my favorite anime of all time easily my top 5 maybe 3 love the themes it deals with and the direction is amazing, studio shaft never misses. Not for everyone though. You should react to kimi to boku saigo no senjou openings and ending if you did not already the sequel is one summer 2024 anime and they have really outdone themselves for the intros and outros (in my opinion)

I wouldn't say you are meant to take it seriously I mean it is more of a rom com and is generally meant to be more lighthearted. I really enjoyed it but then again I like animes like horimiya and my love story as well so if you're not into romancey anime you definitely wouldn't like this one.

Watched this and finished it. Can't remember much because it was 2013. I'm glad seeing you laugh in intro to this show. Walking in front of vehicle is modern thing. Isekai and regression type of shows. This is anime about dating sim game master conquering real girls. Of course cliches are all over the show.

Btw there’s several other series and openings endings for the tatami universe. Like the tatami Time Machine I think was one

4:35 Sazae-san is show with most episodes in history of anime. Completely agree about Digimon Adventure opening. Japanese opening is my number 1 opening of 90's. As child i did hear English version first but Japanese erased it. 28:45 OK, i can't sing it like you. Years 1991, 2001, 2005, 2017 and 2018 were ignored completely. But that is expected because i know just one or two examples of openings in those years. From watching compilation videos that need to have opening for every year. 49:05 Not really. There were maybe 20 shows per season made in 2000's and that includes OVA's. Now there are 65 new shows every season and some shows that continue for 2nd cour. A lot more shows, a lot more songs, so there should be more bangers. I'm impressed with how much you remember about German localizations. I can't remember what did air in Croatia or Slovenia because i think i watched Slovenian TV broadcaster. Some shows were present, they definitely aired but i can't remember which ones. Started watching anime online in 2008.
