Simple clamshell pizza maker . Works great for frozen pizzas. 22 minutes to perfection with a Tony's frozen pizza. They run about $3.75 at Walmart regular price. Better than any frozen pizza out there. No switches. One temp knob. Plug in to turn on, unplug to turn off. Crispy crust nice and hot

Super simple and awesome quesadilla maker. 4:minutes to perfection no matter what you put inside. Can use smaller tortillas but doesn't work as well

Great 65" tv with fire tv built in. Costco.apologies for phone cam quality. Does not reflect actual TV picture quality. Also, tv uses 116 watts continuously as measured on ecoflow unit. Recommend downloading the fire tv app before the TV arrives. It can detect a new device and populate it with your data.

Speed Queen TR5 1.5yr update
มุมมอง 1.1K28 วันที่ผ่านมา
Still runs great. A couple minor glitches but easily remedied. Strongly recommend rubber hoses. Also the softener dispenser doesn't work very well. Tends to hold softener until end of cycle and runs down on finished load of clothes. I think I need to take it off and clean it per recommendation. Haven't done it yet.

Some ompanies would be cautious giving a one man shop any work. They don't know if you'll be around in a month and whether a one man shop can turn the work around quickly. Doesn't mean you haven't been but that's what it could look like to an outsider.
what is the point of this video?
Is this a sign of poor management or a sign of the times..??
This guy is complaining about the inflation reduction act? First, if brought inflation down immensely. And second it's a massive infrastructure spending bill that's on-shoring US jobs. Like....I dunno manufacturing jobs. And there's huge tariffs going on imported Chinese products like EVs.
Don't take it personal, but this shop already looks like a complete mess. And of course, it's all the governments and environmentalists fault lol.
If you think this is a mess, you haven't been around. Until you've seen piles of beer cans between machines and liquor bottles on machines, you haven't seen the half.
you wine to much .Everyone is working get off your knees to trump
*Whine. Unless you're insinuating he's on the sauce. Which is a whole other issue.
Stay in skool
This is very sad indeed to see all that beautiful equipment lying unused…one can only imagine the effect all this has on the manpower..
Find new customers or make a product.
Move to Texas like Titan did
We have been slammed for the last 5 years! No end in sight. I haven't seen things this busy in my 30 years as a machinist. We build equipment in Idaho.
Kick ass
It is absolutely slammed in our area dude. Your shop has just fallen behind the times. It’s stuck in 2002. Yes inspection forms are required, quality is expected to be perfect. Yes the big companies give you extra hoops to jump through. That being said, if the quality is there the work is there. I’m constantly adding spindles. Although pallet pools, robots, etc are required to keep up in this market place. Tolerances that used to be .001 are now .0004. Inspections that were calipers are now CMM.
We're keeping all the machines paid off for now. Boss almost pulled the trigger on a new machine before things slowed down. Good thing he waited. Keeping overhead at rock bottom during these times
Typical Republican playing the victim blaming DEI for running his business into the ground. Not surprised the only people who can stomach being around him (dude goes off on a rant about politics unprompted within three minutes) are also not doing well.
Exactly. The stock market does stratospherically well under Democratic presidents. President Clinton actually balanced the budget. You don't here any Democrats crowing about that, do you?
@@drmodestoesqany idea how the market will do with unrealized gains taxes? Ask any economist. Ask Warren Buffett why he is liquidating
Dumb question as a former machine shop worker. During all those busy years with all the overtime and all the money coming in…. Where did that money go?
he's a typical Trump supporter who thinks he's a victim in every regard possible. couldn't possibly be because you live in an area not rife with manufacturing and are in fact, a below-average machinist using only basic mills and machining centers to do basic job shop work . . . . . . . nah its definitely the dems that did this. 😂😂😂😂😂
@@machineman8388 I would rather here from him before I just to conclusions like that. I am not in the USA so politically policy is less relevant to me.
Sorry to hear that Dude, I even wanted to start a Shop in my Garage but decided to hold on. Sh💩t is getting ridiculous. Hope all turns out good for you guys...😢
Thought about that too. In a different state
Not fun times for sure. Are you looking for any work at all? I have some small qty stuff that needs making (100 units ea of a few different turned parts) if it's worth your time
@@ChefurCustom sure thing. We can quote it
Look to Titans of CNC. The answer is simple: get as much as you can from your machines, make numbers even of the most stupid thing and just optimize your processes in order to be more productive, so you can be competitive and more customers will come to the shop
On the bright side, it should get worse! A 3 axis machine shop, with old tech, in California, with 3 customers, that's a dead deal brotha!
@@CMTeamCobra yeah it's pretty old.
Curious about something you mentioned about prices ?? $225 for 5 Gallons of Way Lube ??? Where are you guys buying this quantity of Oil that cost that much 🤔
Where do you buy cheap good oil?
@@Krishell I wasn't pointing so much at the Quality of the Oil. Just where do you pay this much for standard 68 weight Way Lube. I'm more so curious Why so much $$$ I don't even pay this much in my $$$ and they're worth less than US $$$ 🤔 I looked on line in the US at least 4 different suppliers. The prices I was seeing was $650 to $850 for 55 Gallons ???
@@weldmachine : I haven’t checked prices for 6 years now. I get from a good friend. But it’s seriously overpriced etc. It’s like 10k for 190liter with coolant etc.
I hear your concerns for your Bosses shop. But in that it isn't your shop to worry about, it might be time to look else for a job before you find yourself without a job ?? IF it was me I would be leaving ASAP. There's no point hanging around when you see with your own eyes what's happening. Maybe you can keep your eyes out for this shop does finally close down and pick up a couple of good machines and start something yourself 👍
Parts still need to be made regardless of who is in power, the world hasn't stopped. If you're not making them, someone else is. I'm not sure what the whole story is there, either your prices aren't actually as good as you think, you have a bad reputation or noone knows that you exist and what you're capable of. Even if the thing you are hoping happens happens I doubt you'll see much difference.
No this is not true. Sometimes everything is just in decline and noone else is making your parts. Thats when you know the economy is fundamentally broken.

The shop i work at in west coast is doing great. We're busy as heck. Sound like you guys didnt do a great job finding new customers when you guys were busy. Then when your old clients change, your out of business. Busniess 101! Diversify! Marketing is a core part of a business! I'm not really sure whats going on here. I'm also nor cal located and we are so crazy busy right now. We're not ISO or AS either so im not really sure whats happening?

Man, ignore the dipshids here that understand zero about mfg. However, you have to know the cards are stacked against you! You are in Cali trying to spin spindles? @@crankyunicorn4423 or the facts of the current administration?
@@joepublic6256 Believe me, like no one has ever seen. You even sound like trump. Firstly, we are not in a depression, that is a lie. Second, Huge corporations are making record profits, just look at Wall Street numbers. Thirdly, inflation is at 2.8% down from 9%. We are doing much better than most of the rest of the world. If you want to blame someone, blame the psychopath CEO's that are gouging everyone in an insatiable corporate greed spiral. 3D printing has replaced a lot of machining work. Unless you need thermal, very high tolerance, or strength, 3d printing is usually good enough for proto stuff that job shops do. If you think republicans give a crap about anyone but themselves, think again. They are the ones always on the side of big business at the expense of the little guy. I would like to know where this republican utopia is. EVERY republican state takes more than they give (socialist freeloaders). @@Dellpodder I wasn't clear. We quoted some higher quantities. The things we could handle. Some stainless steel jobs. No orders placed.
Thats the truth of it. We're in a recession.
Brother, I am so so sorry to hear this is happening to you. I am also a CNC job shop here in NC. In the last 3 years things have gone up at least 30 percent, it's insane. My customers are pissed and I just don't know what to tell them. Keep fighting the fight, never give up and think outside the box!
We had the drain leak on the concrete floor behind our washing machine when the dishwasher was draining at the same time too. The problem was a partially clogged pipe. The waste pipe was partially clogged, and could not handle the amount of water flow from the washong machine and dishwasher at the same time. Roto Rooter cleaned the drain, and found part of the pipe needed to be repaired because it was allowing soil from under the house to enter the pipe and it would not drain completely due to the blockage. When the machine is draining and water is backing up and out of the drain pipe for your washer check the pipe for a blockage.
Good advice
Do you have check valves?
What Dryer do you have
An old electric one. I think it's Maytag. Had it for like 20 years. It wont die. Currently too poor to afford a matching speed queen. Maybe someday
Just got a tr3 in January ours did the same thing. I forgot to put the line screens in still haven't done it. Seems to work ok
Yeah I'm not sure how necessary they are. But we have old galvanized plumbing and our aerators catch a lot of chunks. Old water heater too.

When I had my 2013 Speed Queen AWN432 I had that area around the bleach dispenser start to discolor which looked like it was the beginning of rusting. Never could get it off and I hardly used it for bleach. Shame what this brand has become.
It’s a shame that no one makes a machine with porcelain coated tops anymore
@@LlyleHunter That's right Bruce. The Whirlpool commercial VMW I recently sold claimed to have a porcelain top and lid but I don't know if it really did or not.

How long are the wash cycles on the TR5
Can you post a video of what it sounds like when is draining and spinning? Does it make sounds? Please and thank yoy
Ill try. Spinning is nearly silent. But you can tell its super high speed if youre right next to it with no other noises. Filling you just hear water splashing off and on during autofill/measuring, and any sound your pipes make from waterflow if any
Have you ensured the vent is unobstructed? Also, how do I get it to run COLD water? It seems to refuse to run when I select COLD wash? Please & TY
Honestly i could use an entire plumbing drain service just for my peace of mind. I may have a clogged vent. And i have read about some issues with some washers with straight cold. I never use straight cold so i dont know. But i do know some brands 'temper' the hot setting with some cold mixed in. Speed queen will run straight untempered hot right from the source.
I prefer the TC5.
Most do, especially with kids, but as recent retired couple that doesn't get things overly dirty anymore, I think the TR7 would serve us well.
Why do cars fight gravity by having wheels that spin and suspend the load sideways? Does that make sense to you? lol We have ball bearings that work fine to suspend sideway rotation on things like locomotives and tanks and those tractor things that move space rockets, right? They just need to be engineered correctly and made with the right materials. If the argument was against low quality parts or bad engineering, I would agree with that.
Mine has stopped mid wash several times and I had to unplug it and plug back in and start the cycle over. It'll also stop if the lid isnt locked down just right. I looked at several brands before settling on my Speed Queen but unfortunately the model I bought has a lot of complaints from other owners. I hate that it can't be set for soaking a load, instead you have to wait until you hear the water turn off and hold the power button to unlock the lid and open it to soak the clothes. It doesn't allow much water like all the other modern "eco friendly" washers. You also can't do a large load bc it doesn't clean the clothes as well. My next washer will definitely be the older fashioned type without all the computerized bells and whistles so it can be easily repaired unlike the fancy Samsung washing machine that was money down the drain after it tore up after the first year and the professional technician from Samsung couldn't even find the cause of the problem in order to repair it. None of the newer machines wash clothes as well as they did decades ago. I spend more time spot treating and prewashing by hand than the washing machine does running a cycle in order to get a lot of clothes clean. At this point Im considering trying to find one of those washboards my grandmother used and wash most of the laundry by hand.
Mine also stopped midcycle for the second time with lights flashing. Unplugged for 10 seconds and plugged back in. Error code was clogged/slow water in. Just upgraded to bigger rubber hoses and got rid of the thinner braided stainless. Had to use the dedicated spin cycle to spin wet load of clothes after it stopped. Runs fine again.
I'd like to see the heavy duty cycle.
One thing that will help with the water hammer and also prolong the hot water tank and toilet fill is an expansion tank on the hot water tank. Unless you’re on a well then you already have one more than likely.
