Hi, I love nature!
Empirical studies within the research field of environmental psychology illustrate that both mere exposure and direct contact with nature have restorative functions for human health and wellbeing. I hope my videos can offer some relaxation as well as inspiration for you to explore your natural environment.

Nature’s Hide-and-Seek | Encountering a Beaver for the Very First Time
After months of searching, I finally spotted my very first beaver! I have found several signs of beavers over the last year, however, the actual animal has always been nowhere to be seen. On this October morning, I woke up before dawn, hoping to catch sight of a beaver near the huts I had seen the day before. I was sure I had missed my chance, but suddenly, a beaver came swimming toward me, heading right for its hut. The joy I felt when I realized that what I thought was a diving duck was actually the very creature I had been searching for so tirelessly-wow!

Can You Visit Runde Bird Mountain in the Fall? (what to expect)
มุมมอง 9114 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Runde Bird Mountain in Fall: A Scenic Adventure I was curious whether it was worth visiting Runde in the fall, given that most migratory seabirds have left after the breeding season. To our delight, we discovered that, although there were few birds, the landscape was absolutely breathtaking. The vibrant autumn colors created a stunning scene, and we had the area almost to ourselves-except for t...

This video features some of my favorite bird photos from 2023. I first made these into a calendar as a gift for friends and family. Now, I’ve created this video to look back on my very first wildlife photography collection. It will be exciting to compare this 2023 series with future calendars in order to track my progress. I am looking back at some footage from early spring. I wanted to capture a video of a large chestnut tree before and after it bloomed. While reviewing some "old" clips from a few months ago, I found some small spring treasures. Enjoy! - Maria #naturephotography #naturevideography #naturevideo #spring #summertime

My greatest wish for this year was to see and photograph an owl. Well, my wish came true, and I cannot describe the feeling of finally seeing it after searching for so long. My emotions ran wild when a short-eared owl suddenly flew over my head and landed on a rock just a few meters in front of me. It is an encounter I will treasure forever. Bird Photography: Parents Busy Feeding Their Chicks in the Norwegian Mountains
มุมมอง 3393 หลายเดือนก่อน
July has been an incredible month for birding in the majestic mountains of Norway. Working at a mountain cabin gives me the opportunity to spend extensive time outdoors, photographing the diverse birdlife. It is so exciting to watch bird parents collect food and feed their young ones. Every year, the bluethroat migrates from Asia to nest in the mountains of Norway. Observing these birds return ...
Urban Birding in Bergen, Norway | Observing Starling & Heron Chicks from Nest to Flight
มุมมอง 5944 หลายเดือนก่อน
Parks and urban waters provide excellent birdwatching opportunities. This spring, I was fortunate to observe a family of starlings and herons as they grew and eventually left the nest. The starling chicks grew rapidly thanks to the constant feeding of their parents. In contrast, the heron chicks, with their considerable size, took a bit longer to develop. They truly look like small dinosaurs. I...

Wow its special crab!!! Your so 🍀
Lovely video. I think the two birds that you've said were Spotted Redshank were actually Common Redshank (Tringa totanus). I hope this helps.
Oh I think you are correct! Thank you so much for the correction!!:)
¡PEZ!
Wow! Can I ask where this is?
Aurlandsdalen!:))
Did you do this with a tour or did you go on your own?
We went on a tour in order to search for the lynx. The guide had great knowledge of where and when the lynx would be. He also had access to some private land where the lynx lived. Since we only did a one day tour we didn’t get to see it up close. We therefore booked eight hours in a photography hide. We were so fortunate to see the lynx right outside the hide - I really recommend!
this calms my heart, thank you for putting this out
Thank you so much, that made my day!

Awesome so lovely captured . Truly was an amzing film to watch
Thank you so much, that means a lot!!
Nice vid & beautiful photos. Were you going up for landscapes & nature or intentionally looking for wildlife?
Although I enjoy hiking in beautiful nature, it cannot compare to the excitement of experiencing close encounters with wildlife. I am therefore always hoping to see birds or other wild animals! 🦉 This evening, I was actually looking for an owl when I suddenly heard a lot of noise coming from a cliff wall. With a closer look through my camera lens, I realized it was three or four kestrel chicks. I could barely believe it..
@@mariaulvw Good deal!

Thank you so very much, I really appreciate it!! I see you have some incredible work as well - excited to see more!!
Very nice video ! It's interesting you've showed the natural habitat where you filmed the bluethroat in Norway. I had no idea it could live in mountains. I've seen that bird many times in France in my region of Britany (we do have a subspecies with a white area in the middle of the blue throat, l. s. namnetum). But the main diference is that bluethroats here live exclusively in coastal marshes and reeds
Thank you so much! Oh wow that’s very interesting!! I’m so impressed by the bluethroat - they migrate so far while being such tiny birds!!
Great video! So many lovely clips! Greetings from a Swedish youtuber! 🇸🇪
