Beginner Quilting Vlog

Thank you so much for watching! This was a little project I decided to vlog for a friend of mine who wanted a homemade quilt for her wedding gift. It's for sure not the greatest quilt ever, but I think it's so cute and cozy! I ended up loved my soft curvy corners. I hope you enjoyed it. I think you’re really gutsy for diving into the inside of your sewing machine like that! The biggest thing I noticed was the lack of oil within the machine. It’s only fresh on my mind because I oiled my machine for the first time in 7 years. 😬😆
@@leahspencer5179 My thought was I can always bring it to someone to fix, but if I don’t try it would just sit around broken anyway. I am so bad about oiling my machine but also it was gifted to me from my fiancés grandmother who I’m not sure did that! lol
@@caroline_gm I share the same ideal a lot, “it’s already broken, I can’t break it more by trying.” But I’m waaaaaay too attached to my Bernina to fool around with her to the level you did. The end of January will mark 20 years of owning that machine. 💚💚💚
So i just got a sewing machine and have been watching beginner videos because I've never sewed a day in my life and obvi dont know you, but how crazy(& hopefully not super creepy sounding 😅) that I'm pretty sure i know the area of that hike. I'd at least bet money on the state/area lol 🐎 Anyway, cute quilt, thanks for sharing 💕
