I live in a major city but I find my thrift bookstores aren’t very cheap. I can usually get them cheaper used on Amazon or they don’t have many current black authors. I read mostly black romance.

I remember doing a 24-hour readathon back when I had a book review blog -- it's not easy. I think I had to split mine into two 12-hour segments because I have to sleep! 😴 I'm sorry the Cinnamon Bun whatever was basically false marketing. I really don't like it when they do that with book covers. Isn't The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo great? I ate it up. I enjoyed Daisy Jones and The Six as well. If you're looking for more suggestions, I'd suggest The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. It's a really fascinating perspective the main character waking as a different person each day, trying to solve a murder with a very Agatha Christie English-estate feel. I loved it and thought it was one of the best books I read last year. I also really enjoyed How to Solve Your Own Murder. 📚 Really enjoyed this video! Your dog is precious! 🐶 Come in for your hug, girl! 🤗♥♥
