I see a lot of "use the string trick" comments, i recently jammed a finger and it swelled up, no matter how small the string i couldnt get it off, used 30# and 60# braid fishing wire and i couldnt get it to come off even with soap as well. Had to cut that one off myself, and just last week got a gold ring smashed into my finger when i hit my hand against a table too hard😂 the string trick also didmt work again🤯 so i cut it with an oscillating tool(similar to whats used to cut a cast off) and then resoldered the gold, polished it up and it looked brand new, i constantly have 3-4+ rings on at all times, my papaws navy ring, a quarter i made into a ring around 10 years old, my medical ring, my masons ring, and a gold/diamond ring given to me by my mum that she made when she was a gold miner all of them very important so theyre always on🤷 being a mechanic and construction worker i do take them off if i have a tight spot to get to.. i watched one guy in the shop deglove his skin from a wedding ring and that one taught me to just take them off around cars
