The Bayou Church
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 17 มิ.ย. 2019
Our purpose is simple…Help people connect in Christ-centered relationships that lead to a real, full and lasting life. We believe the church is about people ... and people matter to God. We are a family of believers who foster relationships that breathe life and hope into our families, friends and neighbors. We see God move every week in the lives of people at The Bayou Church. Whether it’s marriages being restored, broken families finding healing or people overcoming addictive behaviors, God is using The Bayou Church to produce real life change.

Christmas at The Bayou - Christmas Concert 2021!
Go me
You are misusisng the concept of laws. laws in the context of knowledge are conceptual in nature and they do not exist in reality apart from the mind. They are a relationship between the mind and reality. This relationship is contextually fixed and in this relationship, existence has metaphysical primacy. They are manmade but the facts that they identify are metaphysically given (anything that occurs without the input of human choice). You are reifying concepts and treating them as concretes. The preconditions of intelligibility are implicit in our first act of conscious awareness. They are: 1. something to be aware of (existence), 2. someone to be aware (consciousness), 3. the recognition that the objects of consciousness are distinct from the subject (identity), 4. the recognition that the objects of consciousness are what they are independent of consciousness (the primacy of existence). Christianity rejects all this and reverses the subject-object relationship, giving metaphysical primacy to consciousness.
Carolyn, thank you so much for sharing this part of your story❤ This is so moving and inspirational!!

amazing service!!!
So I can't change my drug and alcohol addiction because god is going to do it? So I can't fulfill a big project at work, so god will do It for me? So if we flaw in life, make awful and stupid mistakes, you're encouraging us to wait for god to change it? I can't donate to charity because I can't afford it... Will god change my bank account? Will god increase my salary so I can change myself? Mold and make and shape my life as you said, can't wait for this overseeing being to change my life for me
Do not inspire hope for people to wait for a change, it is our human selves and our soul that can make a change, telling people that a god can make a change for things we can't, is simply blasphemous to any religion, you cannot tell followers that god will change them instead of themselves, we only lead to evil with that, god if he existed, would not approve to correct wrongs
Always a terrific message, Pastor Alex! Thank you so much for coming to The Bayou! I plan to continue to me "a robe" in my dad's life!❤
Awesome message! Thank you for coming to The Bayou Pastor Tim! May God bless and protect you and your family!

Didn’t god cancel his own son?
Nope
Unless you are David Frech . . . or gay
Thanks Pastor Griff. We couldn’t make it to church this week but our family listened on our way home from out of town and this was an absolutely touching and perfect end to this series. We are ready to come out of the cave. The light is scary when you’ve been shrouded in the darkness for a season but we are together at the entrance and stepping forward with purpose. Thank you.
PEOPLE SHOULDN'T TELL OTHER PEOPLE THAT SUICIDE IS UNFORGIVABLE
I can tell the people in these comments have miserable lives
If god is omnipresent and all loving, why cause suffering at all? Would you choose to give your child a mental illness to “make them stronger”? A broken thing always heals weaker than one that was never broken at all.
He didn’t cause people to suffer
It is a sin because the Bible says without faith is impossible to please God so if you're struggling which I have struggled with depression and everything I was sinning So if you are not in faith you are sinning yeah so that my friend you are wrong
Was Jesus in sin when he was agonizing in Gethsemane?
So impactful on addiction. Thank you Sean.
I mean it really just depends. If you're a genuine believer, you wouldnt resort to suicide. Most people who commit suicide arent believers. Pride also plays a major part. You were prideful enough to take yourself as your own "god" and take away your life which doesn't belong to you. Kinda like Judas. Instead of asking for forgiveness from God, he took his life away. But Judas wasnt the only example, we also have King Saul which to us is a mystery whether hes in heaven or not. We dont know. But we do know that suicide is wrong in front of God and in most cases derives from pride which is an unforgivable sin. The same pride that didnt allow Moses to see the promise land.
Just dont kill youself... dont. Life is better than NOT life. You always have options to make things better.
This is literally the first time I’ve ever heard this thought! I wish it would reach more people bc I’ve struggled with a major depression episode before and serious thoughts of killing myself and was told that if I didn’t I would go to hell. So every time I would feel that way it would drive a wedge between me and God. Thankfully I don’t have those thoughts really anymore and the depression has gotten a lot better but the concept that God forgets about everything you did in your life and his whole relationship with you just bc you took your own life never sat well with me.
Then why do you not extend this to other things..... This isn't in the bible....
You don't think Nebuchednezzar had mental health problems?
@@ModernMozart1104 Im saying why does the church pardon some things and then not others. Like being gay, or other things. Im not one of those activists nor do i give much a crap about peoples Business. Its not my business. What im saying is theres some contradictions here.
@@Raphsophomes Maybe I misunderstood your original comment. Do you agree with Macarthur saying that mental illness doesn't exist?
As an atheists, I think we have to much prove that were not made from a god
I thank Pastor Sean for mentioning Case for Christ. I watched the TH-cam movie and it was beautiful!
Praise Jesus!
God is love! My wife and I are enjoying this series
I’m honored to be a part of this church. It’s a privilege to serve here. God is so good!

A true engineer would put in parallel metal bars to attach a second bike 3 feet above the first one attached with a chain drive. Double the power, quadruple the accidents! Efficiency, people!
These preachers trying to be smart and wity...i don't know
Why get on the bike at all? The whole premise is flawed
God Sized!
Thanks again for this life changing experience ! I am blessed and great full for this day.

I loved the seminar. "How to brainwash the desperate." teaches you all you need to know to make sure your whole family hates you, but will keep a congregation growing.
