Anyway I just wanted to say that I watch a majority of the lives with Morbid and I enjoy your input on panel. Ive never met you and have only seen your face but you are lovely. You have charm and class. A great sense of humor and you dont take any shhh it. Its clear by your TH-cam videos that you have a musical background which is awesome. You keep being you because you make things enjoyable for others. Youre one of a kind.

Great video. I have a family member who was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome . She is highly intelligent and very gifted. I think she is a savant with how well she has mastered playing violin and her art is incredible. But despite this socially she has always struggled. Especially as a child. She learns differently but is very capable of understanding things. She is awkward with responses and sensitive to situations most people without her condition would understand. I appreciate you posting this video to help others with autism and for those who want to know more about it. ❤

Sweet Apple 🍏 I just adore you! Today is my son's 24th birthday. Your explanation is spot on. My one and only child (well he's a man now, but I call him my mancub lol) is autistic and struggles with "reading the room", understanding sarcasm, picking up social cues, and he's misunderstood much of the time. For him, this often leads to disappointment and embarrassment. Although I can't protect him from the world or people around him, there's something I've done that has improved our lives a bit. I have spent 20 years researching autism, listening to others experiences with it, (both as a parent and in the shoes of someone with autism) and surrounding myself with other people similar to my son's level. This has allowed me to put my mind in a place where I can somewhat align my thought process with his. Basically I try to think the same way he does, which changed literally everything. I understand him in a way that few can. We're very close, and he says I'm the only person who really "gets it". I wish more people would try to at least learn a basic understanding of someone whose thought process is different than their own. That's why this video is so important for awareness. People in general don't understand what autism is, the levels on the spectrum, how it affects people, etc. 24 years ago when my son was born, most people hadn't even heard of it, much less understand what it is. Some people thought it was the same thing as retardation. Later on when it became a little more known, people still didn't understand, and most still don't. If I say 'my son has autism' they assume I have a kid who is non verbal, mentally delayed and handicapped. They ask what amazing skill he's acquired, as if every person with autism is a savant. My son is an intelligent young man with a driver's license, a job, and hobbies like anyone else. He just doesn't socialize, because he often finds himself in awkward situations because he doesn't catch on to sarcasm, jokes, or act "appropriately" in social situations and he's uncomfortable because of that. The way you explained this is about as perfect as can be. I appreciate this video, I appreciate you, and I thank you for sharing something so personal, to benefit others. Happy birthday to my mancub, may he handle his own experience with autism with as much grace and patience as you do. You're absolutely a role model. 🧡🫶

KJ's ignorance is offensive! Its like she thinks of people with autism as this generic group who all think and act in a particular way, rather than individuals who fall on a spectrum for certain symptoms but it doesn't define who they are. I worked with autism for years and everyone i worked with, it affected them differently... The only commonality between the individuals was that funnily enough none of them murdered anyone!

I was there during the live. I honestly gave cats and crochet a chance to tell her story. I even sent words of encouragement and kept telling her to ignore the chat and tell her truth. When she was being so rid to y’all I was shocked, especially when she claimed to not be the cussing type but then was cussing like a sailor. I’m going to let actions speak louder than words, and I’m going to see what else cats and crochet says and go from there. I’m sorry to you Apple & to I believe it was miss behavin because y’all gave her a true fight chance, y’all even stood behind her when y’all felt she needed her friends encouragement, and then her didn’t seem true. And I can only imagine how much that hurt y’all. I literally got a headache because I knew the facts but hers weren’t adding up at all. And I was trying to see it from her perspective but still something told me something isn’t right. But I still don’t know what was she confused or was she lying, I don’t know. 🤷‍♀️ Apple, don’t listen to the haters. And yes take some time off relax and do what’s best for you. Because at the end of the day you need to take care of yourself. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. And I speak for myself when I say I understand completely.
