Good evening from Kamloops B.C. My name is Peter Hayes and I lived in Alwoodley from 1933 until 1957. I have enjoyed your video but it is not my Alwoodley. Lots of open field in my days. Very little was built because of the depression , WW2 and for many years after the war. I have tried to see if I could recognize some areas in your video but it is hard. I lived at 15 The Drive and attended the school on the corner King Lane and Nursery Lane. That one that burnt down in 1941. We students attended Allerton High School for a few months until a new school was erected. I do have two books on Alwoodley one by Seven Burt and the other by Graham Branston, very nice writeups. As it is now 1205AM 01 January 2021 I wish you and yours Happy New year and the best in the future. Peter alwoodley@shaw.ca
