Envelope Flip Thingy
มุมมอง 44หลายเดือนก่อน
This is my take on the base envelope flip thingy Patricia Viramontes made a couple of days ago. Here's a link to her video. th-cam.com/video/UvIYnkno_YI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=AUGMzRP_UrFCvNM3 No sound nor voice-over on this video, sorry. My house was full and it was noisy during the recording, and I didn't have time to do a voice-over.
Grungy Macabre Junk Journal
มุมมอง 37หลายเดือนก่อน
I'm not sure if I'll be able to create another Halloween style junk journal, but I'm glad I was able to do this one. It was created using ArtyMaze's 2022 digital kit, some of her freebies, and a page of domino sized images from calico collage.

Oval Keepsake Box
มุมมอง 252 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video, I show you how I made a keepsake box for my oldest child using cardboard, glue, paper, clay, and paint. I've been wanting to make one of these for a while. It didn't take long to make; it just took a few days of letting things dry completely between steps. However, the editing process slowed my production of this video down to a crawl as I was learning how to edit. Hope you enjoy...

Nice end product but confusing on the measurements and scoring.
I’m sorry about that, but honestly the measurements and scoring would be subject to your projects size. This project is 4.5 inches from top to bottom and the finished size of the width for the top flap is 4.25 inches across. You could vary these sizes for the size of your page
Beautiful !
Add your ink to your paper the shiny paper you should just turn that over and put it on the 12 x 12 and that would make beautiful imprints or texture or background you got this don’t second-guess yourself. You just do it. Don’t think. You will do wonderful and I’m sure you’re already doing wonderful you already have 200 subscribers. Congratulations.❤oh you are already there FABULOUS ‼️🎸💃🥁🙏🏻🌈🕊❤️💯
New to your channel. We call this Frankinpaper❤. You’re so creative. Who knew there was already a name to this creative process❤. I wish you great success in your journey ❤️💯
*New Subscriber*. Great video - Thank you for sharing!
Thank you!
I bought a bundle of file folders at a thrift shop and like this project. Did you make your own dauber? (Mary)🇨🇦
I love thrift shopping, and am glad this inspired you. Yes, I made the dauber from a wine cork that has a wooden top, a piece of hook tape (from velcro) and some felt cut to shape.
@@repurposedchronicles Must ask my family to save some wine corks as I am interested in trying the dauber🌺
love your work
@@sallytan3088 Thank you!
It is amazing 🤩 and you should be really proud!
Thank you! 😊
The tuck spots are my favorite thing about the journals we have. Nice to see you making again! Hi from Alaska!
I miss you guys! Give the wife and kiddos love!
What kind of paper are you using to make the tickets?
Cardstock.
Lovely journal x
Yay I k ow how to make. Ticket now
This is what I need thx who's watching this in 2020
Why is this Gilmore thing so visable, it hinders me
I wish they had a puncher machine to fly through the painful parts!
I loved the series, thank you for the inspiration!
I would love to find those at walmart. Do you know why they are called or what dept?
If you're talking about the stencils, they're in the craft paint aisle. Where the chalk paint and canvases are.
@@repurposedchronicles Great, thank you!!
Can't wait to try this technique! Thank you for sharing this. New Sub! :-)
These are so cute!
Great job explaining this...making it easy for me...thanks❄️
I like when someone talks versus the music. Usually the music is much louder then when the person talks. So when they start talking again you scramble to turn it down because there's such a difference. It's like TV shows and commercials. They are not at the same level. Nice job.
Do you have links to the videos of the five that you picked to make these journals? I'd love to see what they made.
Hi ragdolllibby. I'll do my best to try to find them. Thank you for watching.
Here is one from Diana : th-cam.com/video/u9abQ8ehjCU/w-d-xo.html
Here is another from scrapnbox: th-cam.com/video/l5TeQE7cf8k/w-d-xo.html
And one from Linda: th-cam.com/video/5dXIbeKCeMI/w-d-xo.html
You are a PEACH!!!! Thank you!!!
What kind of paper do you use for your spine?
Hi Jane! In this video I used heavy weight scrapbooking paper with a piece of card stock to reinforce where I sewed the signatures in. You could use card stock or file folder and that would probably last longer. Fabric glued to that cardstock either on the front or back would ensure that your book binding lasts longer than you do. ;)
Beautiful job on the journal!
Speak, Child :)
I definitely prefer speaking. Journal is lovely ❤️
Lovely!
Super neat journal Angie. I love all the Collage bits and tags you have made. It all looks so beautiful and vintage! ❤️
I'm doing this cause I'm making a piano performance in my room
So great seeing other DT projects for Lindsey! Yep, when I make a journal for myself, I go even simpler (only the cover is really decorated, inside pages are just blank white). I appreciate hearing your thoughts at the end on how you journal, and why you do it that way <3
Thank you so much. I was so afraid to show how little I decorated, but sometimes we look at all of the amazing images and get a bit overwhelmed. I just wanted to share that just because we use a kit it doesn't have overwhelm our books.
Color Tree Creations I had the same concern when I was doing my DT project, too! Because of the way I'd constructed my journal cover, and how much I'd taken on this month, I *had* to keep it simple. Once it was done though, I was drawn to the simplicity of it -- totally usable and very appealing for someone like myself who loves to journal in long form.
I love the beautiful simplicity of this - very soothing to look at.
Thanks Dru! I love it! I have just a little longer until I get to fill it with my own memories and embellishments.
Love it-heatherwinner
Thank you! 😊
Really cool journal!!!! Love your digitals and embellishments... tfs
Thanks Vani!
Thanks for sharing this. First time I’ve seen it done exactly this way! I am a new subscriber and will be trying it this way soon! TFS
Thanks for watching!
Hi, I love what you have created, I to have just downloaded the same kit. Can I just ask how did you bind it all in the book and would you consider making any more and putting them up for sale !!! I love what you have done 😍
Hi Nardine! Thanks for watching, and thanks for buying the kit! I'm glad you like it. Here's a link to how I do my hidden binding. I'm not sure if I'll be making one of these soon or not, but if I do I'll send you a message!
@@repurposedchronicles hi, thanks that would be great and I can't seem to see the link 🙂
th-cam.com/video/yPm-H3X9YNU/w-d-xo.html I'm so sorry! Apparently I didn't put the link in with the text! Totally a ditzy moment on my end. I apologize.
So glad you enjoyed it! ♡
Brilliant, I love using packaging in my work too x
Great tutorial. Thank you so much for your help.
Thanks Joan. 😊
Terrible experience....
I'm sorry you feel that way...😞
What made it terrible?
Experience???
Very pretty Angie
Thanks Dru!
Love this journal... I adore all those innovative tucks and genius extra writing spaces... Tfs
Thanks Vani!
You need to invest in an all! 👍😘
Hi Monica. I actually do have one. I just hate using it. LOL Thanks so much for watching!
awl
Wow such beautiful pages! Love them
Art glitter glue is wonderful! I highly recommend it. I just did a hidden spine yesterday. I messed up and put the cover pages down first. Ooops. Thanks for the idea of the side pocket. It will hide that nicely.
Hello, I bought this book from you off Etsy a few months ago (still absolutely love it!). I forgot to mention in my review that there was something personally interesting to me. Inside the book you added a few dictionary pages, one of the pages is in the ‘P’ section and it has the definition for piccolo.... which is my dogs name. I spell it different (Picalo), but still, it’s not a common name and out of ALL the pages from a dictionary you could have grabbed I found it rather ironic. Anyway, just something interesting I thought I would share. Thank you again for the book. -CS
Hi Crow Star. To me it sounds like that journal was meant just for you! I'm so glad that you love it. It makes my heart happy to hear! Thanks for sharing your story with me!
Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing your lovliness!
Loved the cover on this one 😊
Beautiful Kit.
Thanks Anita!
Love it Angie you did a great job! I hate that when they don't fill the boxes or bags up with food lol! But you're right it makes for a good jj cover!
Really pretty Angie - love the use of the different papers throughout.
